tfishell: Rescue Rover strikes me as something that GOG would have rejected not that long ago, and if that's the case I'm glad GOG loosened their curation at least a little. (I'm still unhappy with some rejections made of course)
My guess is that the only reason Rescue Rover is on GOG is because ID Software made it, more specifically John Carmack did.
Hopefully, I'll wake up one day just to find out that Ziggurat brought Keen 6 back out from licensing limbo.

I can confirm that the Rescue Rover games have been previously rejected by GOG.
It's been a while since curation model's been less restrictive. It has its good and bad things. It will never glad everyone. But at least there is one. I can only wish that the ideal isn't the massive and confusing zoco of garbage Steam became.

TheBigCore: Rescue Rover 1 and 2 are classics, but not worth $4.68.
They've even gone to the trouble of regionally pricing the games to make them less attractive in several regions

It comes to 5.15 USD for Australian users.
man talk about these trailers!! folks know how to advertise oldies I dare to say. kudos!
high rated
After I bought Rescue Rover I read the review in the game page and was kind of worried the game was incomplete.

Just to let you know: you CAN complete the 6th level and start the 7th. I just did. Maybe the person who wrote the review just didn't see the solution.
AND you can play Rescue Rover 2. But there's a catch: if you exit RR 1 and select RR 2, DOSBox will redirect you again to RR 1. You have to close DOSBox completely and start again the program, then select which game you want to play.
Nice to see more retro games from the 90's on here.
Among the Softdisk games, In Pursuit of Greed is a FPS that is now freeware

I've never heard of almost all the old games Ziggurat brings back, but I damn sure appreciate their work. They are the new Night Dive.

Plus they properly (like ND) remaster some oldies. The Bloodrayne one from what I've heard is amazing.
Cheers to them!

SCPM: Wow, ScubaVenture, I think that's the only Apogee game that I never played. I'm really grateful to Ziggurat for bringing back all these oldies, even if all of them weren't gems, buying the lot of 'em now. :)
It makes me hopeful we can see many more of the obscure stuff like Cyril Cyberpunk, Clif Danger, Protostar, Nomad, and Sabre Team.
That ScubaVenture game looks a lot like the Dopefish level in Commander Keen 4: Secret of the Oracle.
Do people genuinely mean these comments or is there some kind of sarcasm I'm missing.
Cool stuff.

Wushlisted for now.
