And sadly GamerGate IS seen by the mainstream and the general public as a movement of Bigots lashing out against the "progressive and cultural marxist left, who they think are run by Subversive Jews, Tyrannical Femenists, Decedent LGBT people, and Anti-White hating Black and Brown people.

Again, you do realize what you just said is legally speaking libel, which the people who got angry at the tombstone gag were very willing to throw around as an emotional dog whistle because they've done so with impunity for so long, yes? That's their MO, always has been.
And GOG not only fell for it, again, they echoed the mindset and agreed with them. Again, Bad Business 101.
Look I just want GOG to survive because this site is a treasure trove of so many classic PC games that are now DRM FREE and in a digital world where everything requires a client and passwords and constant internet, this is a big thing. And personally I did not felt wronged by GOG's comments because really I don't care because I know who I am as person and just that knowledge that i know they are wrong, I shrugg off their comments.
