no joy,

have tried the june 2010 dx9 dowmload, extracted the files to remp folder but the gasme launch through GOG still asks for direct play.

found the file DXsetup and run it accordingly,

no change to gamelaunch it still asks for direct play

post a screen of direct play option from control panel


try also to use compatibility mode (for example "run as admin")

running DX9 installation as administrator has not resolved.

will try a re install of the direct play installation as suggested.

the direct play is a feature that can be turned on or off, see attached, when i tich these boxes they do not stay as enabled but clear when i exit windows features...
