Hello people,

Alright, I know this thread's title is weird, so I'll explain my issue :

Supergiant's library is on sale currently, so I wanted to grab the games I didn't own only to see that Bastion isn't listed as "In library". I went and check and yes, it isn't.

Now that's strange, because I had the strong feeling I did own Bastion on GoG. I checked in my Payment & Order and couldn't find any trace of it either. Wasn't Bastion once part of the GoG Connect thingy ? I searched a bit and no list mentions Bastion being part of Connect.

Obviously, I know none of you could confirm I owned Bastion on GoG at some point but...Am I imagining things ? It could be possible I'm confusing all my launchers and, since I did connect Steam in Galaxy 2.0 a couple of weeks ago, I might've seen Bastion because of that.

My brain's a weird tool as I really thought I owned Bastion on GoG all these years. Was it removed from GoG at some point ? Guess I'm just really confused right now.

Thanks for your time, by the way, I know it's a weird thread.

According to my order history, I bought Bastion in 2015 and it's still there in my library.
Maybe you got it from Humble Bundle? I did
AFAIK GOG never removed Bastion ever since it finally came here.
If you want to be 100% sure, check your email history. GOG sends an email with the purchase data every time you buy a new game.

EDIT: I too have a feeling that Bastion was once part of a "GOG connect" promotion. But it could just be my imagination.

There's a lesson here: download (and backup) the games you buy on GOG.

I mean, do whatever you want - for me, having the installation files locally is what it means to have a game DRM-free.

Deadmarye: ...
Like ResidentLeever said, are you sure you aren't thinking of Humble Bundle? I got a DRM-free copy there many years ago, I think it was like Humble Bundle 5 or 9.
Ah, yes, people mentioning Humble Bundle might be right !

I looked a bit and Bastion indeed shows on Galaxy 2.0 but that's because I own it on Steam. That's probably why I have that icon imprinted in my brain and I have no e-mail with Bastion from GoG :p

Well, I think the case's closed. If anyone could confirm if Bastion ever was part of GoG Connect that would settle it as the rest, I fear, was only due to my confused imagination.

Also, keep your game purchase receipts (emails)
