Doof1234: I didn't place War of Mines into my cart, but it was there. GOG, I understand you're getting money to drum up support for Ukraine, but placing things into people's carts is a dishonest business practice.
Do you enjoy playing Mines Weeper? I love that Windows bundled game :P.

nightcraw1er.488: In the last few months I have had Witcher 3 (even though I own it) and cyberjunk (even though I wouldn’t give it to my worst enemy) added to my cart at various points. It just happens occasionally.

ConsulCaesar: I don't think it's necessarily a bug. Those games are often featured prominently on the main page, with an "Add to cart" button that seems to be extremely sensitive (and even more on a touchscreen).
Oh, it is. The Witcher 3 appeared in my basket when I loaded the forum back when. Did not even touch anything on main page or anything, nor was it there prior. That one definately was not user error. It has happened a few times, but that one I definately know it just appeared in the basket.
It's an easy mis-click, and usually happens on mobile. It's happened to me a few time while browsing the store on my mobile, which isn't very often...

But here's a tinfoil hat just in case...

Edit: speeling...

War of Mines could be a cool game if it existed. Extracting managerial sim? Fights among miners? Or in minefields?!

I guess if it was just me, then it must have been my mistake, but I've never done that before.
If I were you, I'd blame my mouse instead. Old laggy mice tend to click/refuse to click randomly, especially on older PCs and/or during stressful activities (a shopping site tends to be quite heavy on the browser)

Doof1234: War of Mines .
avatar
DD & Ji Ji: I don't see any game with that name in the catalog .
I think it's War of Mine, where as I put 'Mines' with an s.
Could be any number of popular games:

The Swarm of Mind
This Warmer Heinz
The Schwarma Kind
Being serious for a moment.

I have had issues with GOG web pages somewhat regularly.

What it boils down to, is web page bloat, and thinking the web page has finished downloading because it looks like it has, while in reality scripts are still running in the background and haven't completed yet.

So I find miss-clicks, even ones you are not aware of, happen ... especially on the main GOG page.

P.S. You only need to look at the source for a GOG web page, to see the huge amount of code that runs.
