junk11: Don't think we will get any further news,
Ancient-Red-Dragon: That depends on for how long we the customers, and also games journalists, keep the pressure on GOG regarding this matter.
The management at GOG is probably hoping this disaster will "blow over" a few weeks, and so their current strategy is just to "wait it out."
But if we
never allow it to blow over, then that strategy isn't going to work.
Similarly, if games journalists keep writing articles with headlines like: "GOG ducks questions about why they banned Devotion," then eventually GOG management is going to become tired of having GOG/CDPR's name dragged through mud, and thus they will become
compelled to provide real answers, even though they do not want to.
Speaking of which, a bunch of us should email Jason Schreier and ask him politely if he will please use his insider sources at CDPR/GOG to tell the public the real nitty gritty details of why GOG banned Devotion. He has the power to get answers, should he choose to investigate the matter.
Cyberpunk is more pressing matter for CDPR right now and more newsworthy, I doubt Jason has time for this yet.
I guess this will add some fuel on top of current Cyberpunk incident if he does invest in this.
