just sharing, it's nothing new (we've known for decades that the radiation waves are bad), but not enough people care or are aware

article worth reading

I really don't want to be a jerk, but here's an article (that I was just now reading -what a coincidence!) that says the exact contrary:

Article

(it's in greek, just put it on google translate or something..)
The guy that has this site also owns pcsteps.com, which is like the English version of it, but the wifi article doesn't seem to have been published there yet...

Today I learned that I can absorb healing ions from the earth.
You get way more microwave by going one hour outside under the sun than by spending 1 week in your home 'exposed' to your router.
/thread.

linky

Mobile phones are another topic.

Any and all arguments against going wireless are rendered moot by the fact that I never use wireless and I'm a total fuck up. :P

Heed these words: get yourself a cell phone, or end up like me!
The linked article keeps repeating that a baby's brain absorbs *much more* radiation than an adult's one, but fails to explain why or how do they do it... Bloody greedy babies, they want all the radiation for themselves!!! :\
To be honest...I like old tech more. Much more resilient. Long lasting. Sturdy. Give me my cables, i say.

Well in my case it's because my parents force fed me radium until I was two.

Meh... radium... those old ionizing radiations are sooo mainstream... FFS, Marie Curie was getting high on that shit more than 100 years ago!

Now, WiFi is the real deal, man!

Smannesman: Today I learned that I can absorb healing ions from the earth.
Indeed that was my big takeaway from this.

seems all the shoeless tech people were just subconsciously compensating.

who knew!
The only thing I can think of about a baby's brain absorbing more radiation has something to do with the fact the baby's skull hasn't completely fused yet (in fact, doesn't completely happen till after becoming an adult). I mean, bone material might provide some protection (not complete though as large doses of radiation can kill bone marrow).

Then again, I wouldn't worry about things like this (unless you are playing with nuclear material or riding on atom bombs before hitting the ground). :P

After a few generation, humans will adept to the radiation as survival the fittest.

Twenty five or so years ago a 14 year old kid built a functioning nuclear reactor in his parents tool shed. :P
True story, there is a pretty good book about it.

The kid, now obviously an adult, was arrested a few years ago for stealing smoke detectors which contain trace amounts of radioactive material.

You talking about Taylor Wilson? That was in 2008. Go to bed, tinyE, you're drunk and hallucinating.
