GOG is described as a DRM-free platform where you can dl a game and play it without internet access. So, can some games on GOG have Denuvo or is it autoamtically removed when the game comes to the GOG platform? For example, Yesterday Origins by Microids has Denuvo on Steam. It is also available here on GOG. Does the GOG version also have Denuvo? Anybody know anything?

Freyr-O:
The games are yours, on gog don't have denuvo, they are drm-free. You can play offline or backup.

Yesterday Origins doesn't have denuvo on gog. :)

I'm about to hit my 2k mark of GOG games. None have Denuvo.
Actually I think he has a point.

Thats like going to teach at Juilliard and asking "What is a violin?".

Its a rather odd thing not to know, lest ye be, not ye(stink eye).

Hey, whatever bud.

None of the games on gog are supposed to have anything of the sort of crapware attached. So whatever the disc game may have had applied, should not be applied from gog. Literally what we pay for.

Yes, and I bought it.
Well, if he did, at least some research was done and the new owner is staying in character!

I guess our friend was just seeking clarification on a very particular matter, one that seems self-evident to experienced users such as the eminent Sachys... not everyone can be as wonderful and all-knowing as yourself!

A question about Galaxy integrations is completely different from a question about DRM-free, the basic reason to buy on GOG..

I meant that his response to an unhelpful reply was identical, it was a jest...
Waiddaminute?!? Do you guys mean to say that in GOG... you can download your games... and play them too?!?

Why no one ever told me this? I've been here since June 2011 and bought 2680 games... and all this time, I could have actually played them too?!? Now the games have just been sitting idle in my library.

Over 13 years of my life lost, down the drain. I don't want my money back, I want my 13 years of life back!
