Hey all! There are some good news coming today, but, unfortunately, a delisting information too:

The Tenants and its DLC will be removed from our store tomorrow on February 28th, 4 PM UTC.

No last-minute discount. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

This review seemed pertinent:

"Do not purchase Frozen District games!
... they will abandon the game, and pull it off the platform, thereby depriving you of any further DLC or patches. They did it with House Flipper, and they'll do it with The Tenants. They shouldn't be rewarded (anywhere) for shady business practices. "

Maybe next game GOG just says no thanks.

That was to be expected after Frozen District already beat "House Flipper" here. I'm always happy when games come back, but as far as I'm concerned, "Frozen District" can stay away.

Frozen District, who brought us the equally distasteful delisting of House Flopper?

I'm inclined to agree with the German there, this should be no surprise but it's still rude and foul.

No suprise here. I was considering the game but since the Houseflipper desaster I decided against buying this one. Seems like I was right in doing so.

That just seems to be a generic copy and paste review for the developer (the one DLC that was released for The Tenants was released here.)

If anyone has any info on what is actually missing from this game here on GOG rather than just assuming from previous games then it would be greatly appreated as i'm on the fence about buying it before it gets removed.

Generic or not, the very fact that it's being delisted proves the review true.

As for the game, GOGDB lists version 1.2.8b, after it was 1.2.9 for a while but then it was reverted. Elsewhere it's 1.2.10, since Oct 2023.

I wouldnt say that the fact that its being delisted proves the review true. Many games get delisted from GOG.

But thanks for the version number info, that means i'll hold off and get it on Steam and make it DRM free down the line.

I hope Gog will permanently terminate its contract with this publisher and blacklist it .
