+100 for getting rid of games abandoned without justification and sold without any warning. This one missed updates since 24 May 2019 according to the 2nd class file.

You have to stop 'em all
I like how this post implies that the Steam version is still updated.

Spoiler alert: It's a dead and abandoned game there too.
I picked up this game some years back and it was decent. It wasn't until a bit later that I realize that not only had this game been abandoned entirely, but apparently the developer has closed up shop. It's just that the publisher maintained the IP and have never bothered to apply any updates. This is why the GOG version is multiple updates behind the steam version. There is no one to patch the game.

It's always good to see an abandoned title getting delisted. :)

Timboli: GOG should take these clowns to court, but of course they won't ... would set a precedent to turn others away.

BreOl72: So - throw good money after bad money (or rather: after money that never got made)?
That would be a bad business decision.
Indeed.

I understand perfectly why GOG with sound reasoning would never do such, but at the same time, like I said, these folk and any similar others should be taken to court, because that is what they deserve for not standing by their commitment to GOG and us. These folk are abusing the situation, because they can get away with doing so. Alas GOG and us ultimately are between a rock and a hard place, and are powerless to do what should be done.

dnovraD: If GOG's gonna start taking names, shouldn't Pixel Piracy be at the top of their boot list? Or Forager, for that matter?
Undoubtedly.

My comments were not just for this current situation, but for all who don't live up to their obligations to us and GOG, abusing us in effect.
