Would love to see it get a release here, too.

For those of us who can't/won't/are too lazy, could you give a baseline descriptor of the game?

There's one in the header of the wishlist entry linked in the post just above yours...

Not much to work with (for now), there's only two short trailers (which should give you an idea of what gameplay looks like) and the description from the website.

"Stranded on a desolate world, a lone Replika must explore the ruins of an abandoned reeducation facility in search for answers - and a way to escape."

"A classic survival horror experience with a unique aesthetic, full of melancholic mystery. Explore a world with a dark secret, solve puzzles, fight off nightmarish creatures and navigate through dystopian, surreal worlds as Elster, a technician Replika looking for a lost dream."

Also this is not entirely up to GOG it is also up to the Developer of the game to decide if they want to make a GOG version of the game. At the end of the day it's up to both the developer and GOG to make some kind of deal.

It's published by Humble Games, it's likely they're the ones to decide where to release it.

EDIT: The dev seems to be somewhat active on Twitter so I tweeted to them expressing interest. Still, they might be bound by their agreement with Humble.

edit: sorry, I should have looked at the original date. didn't realize this was a bump

That'd be great! But unfortunately I'm guessing the devs don't care enough because they're making plenty of money on Steam, sold 200k-500k copies according to Steamspy. I assume that's why we don't get plenty of missing old AAA games too that would sell well here. Or of course it could be DRM (especially as GOG-specific piracy sites have grown, unfortunately), or a legal reason like catte mentioned, or some other.

Unless GOG rejected it because the people making such decisions are ... not good at making such decisions, but I doubt that's the case. [s] Oh well, at least if GOG never gets a premium popular high-selling game again, they'll diiiieeeee and we'll finally be free. [/s]

Thanks for including the wishlist link btw. :)

The dev wasn't categorically opposed to releasing it on GoG, back in 2020:

https://twitter.com/LastStarfarer/status/1245753073030529025
Q: "Will it also be released on gog?"
A: "maybe"

The GoG release of another Humble-published title, Midnight Fight Express is overdue since September last year which makes me wonder if GoG possibly had to agree to a staggered release for certain Humble-published games in order to be able to have a GoG release at all.
Maybe it's the same for SIGNALIS, assuming a deal has been made and it's just not confirmed as "coming soon" (yet).

there is nothing here gOg has to agree to, it is completely up to the publishers and thre is not really anything gOg can do, they canot force a publisher to release a game here and and what time. There are contractual obligations, yes, but then that has to be baked into the original contract. even then, a publisher may break a contract, and gOg still cant force a game release

As much as I'd love to have it on GOG, I don't think GOG can do much. Better off contacting the developers directly via Discord or Email or, heck, even Steam.

That game looks awesome, hear a lot of good things about it, it's weird that the game is not here, other Humble Games are here, this is the first one that didn't appear.
Kill the curator, I will make my own curation system with blackjack and hookers.
As pointed out a few posts earlier, Midnight Fight Express, also published by Humble, is now 6 months overdue as well (and probably continues to be overdue until September this year?).

SIGNALIS may not have a been confirmed as "coming soon" but maybe it's the same as with Midnight Fight Express and it's just going to release on GoG 12 months later.
