I am very please with gog buying loads of games legal, even expensive ones

You do not need to be online to install games. I assume therefore you are using gog galaxy, the “optional” client. I can’t help with that, but you can get your games by going to you game library on the website, under your name, and downloading the installers under offline installers. Then when they have downloaded, click on the exe to run install.

They were down due to technical issues, but seem to have the site running at least....Galaxy still seems to be down right now, though.

(Also in the future, it's easier to either PM a GOG staffer or hover over the support tab above, then click account and website, then(on the new page) click contact us and fill out the form and send it in. Hope this helps in the future. :))

server down, cant log into gog and play

it did'nt saved my "Wild Rose Dethorned" achievement on tw3, the technical issues came exactly in that moment. :'(

Yeah, I think the servers are under heavy load at the moment as I'm getting timed out occasionally even browsing the site.

I suspect either GOG is under attack from script kiddies (It's a school holiday) or shedloads of people just bought the Wolfenstein and Dishonoured bundles and are hammering the electrons off their download servers XD

It should go back to normal when the servers aren't being hammered so much...

I was playing Shadow Warrior 2 when the servers went down. The effect was a complete game freeze (I've been playing with GOG Galaxy). I hope my save files are ok. :P

The error message is a bit misleading.

You're connected to the internet, but GoG isn't.
A few hours ago, gog.com was completely inaccessible (for currently unknown reasons), and I still can't log in to GoG Galaxy.

Just be patient. The downtime won't kill you, and you can still play games you've already installed, unlike with Steam or similar.

GOG was down, collapsed by Bethesda AAA games, imagine when they release Skyrm.

Galaxy is giving me all sorts of problems, it's not even updating how many hours I have spent in a game and I have to be off-line to log-in. You will have to use a good old fashioned manual installer.

Oooh, yea, they're probably getting the storm that we just had over here huh... >_>
