So far I see no base building :P

I wanna play as the Ultramarines :(

Looks like another Dawn of War 2. Pass for me.

I was really looking to the return of base building part from DOW 1 but now it seems they ditched it again and just went for squad based rts.

I heard people likes the Dawn of War 2 style because its more akin to the actual Table-Top game?

Like do you base build in the table top games at all?

I don't know but I haven't played a table-top game since I was a small kid :)

I liked it, looks a bit like DoW 2 but on a larger scale similar to DoW 1; hopefully it strikes the right balance between DoW 1 and 2. Unfortunately, it looks like they are going on the same schedule of Total War: Warhammer, Announcment late April (In the case of TW: W)/early May (In the case of DoW 3), pre-order and release date announced October, release over a year after announcment after (Possible in the case of DoW 3.) delay. If this is true it unfortunately means that it would have only just come out a year from now.

Well hey the wait for Total War: Warhammer was all worth it because at least from a launch perspective it was a very polished game.

And after the god-awful Rome 2 launch it was really necessary.

Like in a RTS?
No, no you do not.
not much to go by, but looks cool so far.
I heard that the base building was back, so that seems strange..

Indeed, although it lacks in factions (Although they are all unique which is a plus.), it is a fine game and had a relatively smooth launch (I heard about the problems on launch day but luckily didn't experience them myself.). I am very looking forward to the DLC.

I did like the dow2 campaigns, I did like the dow1 campaigns in equal measures ..... I'd like something different again.
Regarding the video, it looks even more dynamic than the second opus which is impressive.

I am really curious about the multiplayer aspect : DOW2 was excellent in that regard, despite having an extremely high learning curve (best played in team of friends also).

I stil feel the burns of Rome2 : broken at launch, and, in my opinion, still unappealing after a year and a half of patches - so yes, minor problems in Wham:TW are to be expected and are a relief in some way.

I think they are taking the route they had with the last game, And a little thing I hate is when they advertise this AAA title with a 15 to 20 fps video on youtube. man the lag was horrible :(

Only first played Rome 2 10 months after release. It seemed ok then but I know it was broken when it came out and they promised too much before release apparently to so for some people (Including you by the sounds of it.) it still disappoints after 2 years of patches (It's last patch was September last year.).

It's pre-alpha and it showed. They still have plenty of time to optimise it before release. Although, to compare it to Total War: Warhammer at this stage, Warhammer's E3 video didn't lag this badly.

It is the Blood Ravens, a chapter specifically created for the first Dawn of War. I can see why you think it is the blood angels, their symbols are similar and their colours are both red. The main difference is that the Ravens don't have red shoulder pads.

Regardless I don't care for the Blood Ravens I wanna follow the Ultramarines :(

They'd be a nice change after 2 games + expansions of those games of Blood Ravens, agreed.
