Woke up to the news, i'm legit shook and sad. God dammit. :(

Oddly enough, my first introduction to Bowie was his role in Labyrinth and not an album, so it wasn't until much later I discovered he was a singer/songwriter. Though this should've clued me in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvyNOg4jSRg

I was feeling something in the year, though I was paranoid after Lemmy out, but nope.
That's official - music industry is dead, at least for me. 99% of indie stuff is bland and you still need to did deep )no pun intended) to find some value.
Fuck, David, why did you had to leave us so soon? :'(

Rest in peace.

A sad day.
I am absolutely devasted. When I saw the first news I thought it can't be, it must be some stunt. The last thing I listened to before going to sleep was his Rebel Rebel, and now I wake up to this news. Horrible news.

He was magnificent. I liked his music a lot, but I think I loved him as an actor even more. The Man Who Fell to Earth, The Labirynth, The Prestige. Such a talented, extraordinary man.

Ground control to Major Tom, can you hear me Major Tom?

Be fitting or in bad taste, do you think?
Bad Taste. Something vultures would do. A give away would be more fitting.

Breja: Snip
And don't forget "The Hunger", special effects did what time never could. Make him look old.
Your music will be alive in our hearts. Farewell David.
we all are dead in advance
Ah, damn. It was only five or six days ago that I heard the new single on the radio, and they mentioned his age (69), and I thought how great it was that he was still making music, even if I didn't like it all that much. It's saddening.
If he had cancer for 18 months, then I guess Lazarus (his latest single from the new album) is morbidly intentional. :(
He will be missed.
But he left behind quite a legacy.
Those knives of his sold very well I believe.
Damn. Completely shocking. Don't really have the words, so young too.
My death waits there in a double bed
Sails of oblivion and my head
So pull up your sheets against the passing time

But whatever lies behind the door
There is nothing much to do
Angel or devil, I don't care
For in front of that door there is, Thank You.
Such a versatile and inspiring talent. His music had a strong influence on me during my formative years, and still continues to brighten my darker moments. Thanks for the many great memories, David. Now I regret not having seen you perform live. Maybe in the afterlife?
