I play most games I buy. But I know I won't like all of them. Some of them, I buy because they intrigue me and I may find a surprise. Some I get expecting to be good and never touch them again after 2 hours. But I definitely try to play all of them at least once.
I have not bought a single game so far. Not that the sales are not awesome - they are an GOG id a good job again. But I don't know, with soooo many games on my backlog, big ones I'm playing (Divinity original sin, Witcher 3, Van Helsing Final Cut...) that will or are already take me so much time to finish, I've kind of lost the will to buy more games...

timppu: Also it might be I have a wider taste for different genres than you? If you really mean that there are only maybe couple dozen GOG games you find even remotely interesting (that you'd actually want to buy them at some point), that sounds awfully little to me. It is easier for me to name game genres which I won't possibly play, than those I like to play.
Maybe. I have all of 49 games on my wishlist right now, and the vast majority are point & click adventures, RPGs and turn-based strategies. In fact, I didn't buy Massive Chalice and Anna's Quest, despite being very interested in them, because I decided that I already have a ton of adventure games and turn based tactical games in my library.

RogueXanter: I probably bought more then I should though I doubt I will buy anything else unless Starflight 1 & 2 goes on sale. I 've gotten 28 games this sale not counting the free games I didn't already own

drhoads: Got me beat... I got 23 so far.. I am about to pick up one of the Larry's and 2 of the kings bounties. I now have way more games on GOG than I do on steam!! The joke is that I probably will not get around to playing some of these for years... literally. Only ones I actually see myself playing anytime soon are never alone, toonstruck and maybe Archimedean dynasty.. Though I would like to play them all some day.
I'm up to 30. I planned to hold out for Starflight 1&2 next but collapsed when I saw Syndicate Plus and Syndicate Wars on sale.

I currently have 123 GOG games and 119 Steam games though there are a few games I have on both usually due to buying them on GOG and later getting them as part of a bundle on Steam.

Edit: make tat 120 Steam. When I saw a space strategy game for $0.49 I figured it had to be worth at least that much.

Standing proud at five-ish, as I have been wanting to play Another World and the final chapter of the Blackwell Saga for a looooong time. But since I must save money (resisting the urge to buy Ziggurat and/or Technobabylon) and the bundles are meh, I think my wallet will be safe.
That it, unless Star Wars bundle kicks in.
Not for me. Only bought Total Annihilations for a grand total of euro 2.78. Only waiting for one more game, but it doesn't look like it'll go on sale. If it won't I'll buy last day at full price since I might as well get System Shock 2 that way. Of the free ones, that and Banished are the only 2 I'm likely to play.

Picked much more during Insomnia and Summer. I guess it's the backlog.

You don't need to buy that "one more game" (whatever it is) to get SS2. I can give you my gift code right now.
Please...
Still no D&D games...

Some EE BG, IWD and BG2 was on earlier.

But I hear you. I want a good grid-based sale of the gold boxers.

Thanks for the offer. If you got a spare key, I'll happily take it. Much appreciated :)

(and if I do get my own key before the sale ends, I'll pass it on to someone).

I know how you feel. I've been waiting for Starflight 1&2 to go on sale since the sale started with no luck.

drhoads: So much money, so many good games... So little time....
Funny that, I've bought only three titles. The rest of the sale has been pretty uninteresting.

Man, I wish I found it uninteresting. My library is ridiculous (571). At least I will never run out of games to play!! :-)
