Where does it say that? I read "Support awesome indie authors by paying however much you think their work is worth!" and "Pay what you want! You choose how much you want to pay for these awesome books." So it should be okay to pay $1 (or even less) for the first stage, shouldn't it?

But apart from that: Man, are they mad? It's becoming really difficult to track the overlaps with other Dynamite bundles. I bought both full Humble Bundles and the full Groupees bundle but I don't think I want to pay $15 here since there are some incomplete stories in the bonus section as well as at least three that were already included in one of the other Dynamite bundles (both "Red Sonjas" and "Dresden Files - War Cry").

If you go to the purchase section, the lowest you can move the slider is to $5. You can enter a different price without the slider, but then you get this message if you attempt to go any lower: We've set our minimum price at $5. Check our FAQ page to find out why.

Mad? They're just trying to make money. They probably saw that bundles bring them more money for some franchises than normal sales, so they're trying to spread to as many bundle sites in the hope of getting even more readers.

So sure, bundle fans are probably getting duplicates, but Story Bundle and Humble / Groupees customers probably don't completely overlap, so some people may be getting their first Dynamite bundle now.
