Geddes17: I guess Humanoids liked the success of their Groupees bundle a few weeks ago - because now they're also doing a Humble Bundle (with many repeats, obviously):
https://www.humblebundle.com/books/incal-and-more-humanoids-books?hmb_source=navbar&hmb_medium=product_tile&hmb_campaign=tile_index_1

Edit: Less bundle repeats than I first thought; many new-to-bundles comics. I guess I'll have to buy that one as well ... *sigh*
Which are repeats per tier? Just curious/
This might not be comics but: https://rebellionpublishing.com/product/rebellion-games-ebook-bundle/

Oh my god yes. Who needs another boom/dynamite/whatever-sub-image imprint? You've got to figure they're doing it because that's where the money is. Not in selling the comics themselves because who the hell wants **another** off-brand superhero story or middle-high-concept tv show pitch; presumably they'll lose money on the comics. But the $ come from actually selling the TV/movie pitch, which'll probably earn way more than translating more Boucq or de Crecy (more's the pity)...

If Humanoids is actually the same brand that published Metal Hurlant in France, they'd have tons of Druillet works to publish, but no, more of this wannabe netflix pitches... I blame Mark Waid, iirc he said he wanted Humanoids to be a "big name" in America, and that was a huge red flag for me. I don't trust him to know what's good in comics.

AFAICT, the comics from French Humanoides, esp. Metal Hurlant, are split between different English publishers, seemingly depending on the creator -- Fantagraphics has Tardi, Dark Horse has (some) Moebius, etc. I expect that's why we haven't seen a collected English translation of the original mags. (The English-language Metal Hurlant tribute in the bundle is laughable -- wow, Kurt Busiek *and* Geoff Johns?!)

Titan Books has been publishing Druillet. They're amazing to look at; available digitally but worth buying physically IMO just to gawp at the detail

For those who enjoy Valiant comics, you can get a whole lot of their books on a USB for a discount here:

http://www.gitcorp.com/valiant25offsale.html

Seems like a great deal for someone who didn't purchase any of the previous Valiant bundles and wants a fresh start.

Edit: It's not specified what file format they're using, but it seems like it does have DRM

Most new-to-bundle comics are in the highest tier. The only new comic in the $1 tier is "Unfabulous Five". In the middle tier it's "The Zombies that Ate the World" and "Luisa". Btw: We should mention for those who missed the Groupees bundle that most of those "volumes" seem to be only around 50 pages long. It's still a a big bundle but not as big as if it were "American volumes".

I own two of those Titan books. They are worth every penny. All of those euro comics are worth having physically, but those Integral/Omnibus editions can get a bit "big", even if you can look at the art at a very reasonable size. I recently bought the Nikopol trilogy in this format, but again it's worth having.

I'm curious. Metal Hurlant had a new version in France too but most of the old talent had moved on to "solo" careers. The american one that's included here has me wanting to see it just to see how bad i can be. I hope it's uncensored though. Heavy Metal did censor almost every strip they published, which is weird because they boasted about being "adult comics" and had erotic specials. Oh well.

Have you seen the Metal Hurlant Chronicles show? It's so corny it's hilarious.

Ha, I haven't seen the show. The American books -- well, I've only read the first one, maybe they improve -- aren't exactly "bad" so much as just thuddingly mediocre. It reminds me of the story (can't remember where I read it) about Stephen Bissette starting up Taboo to be a place for transgressive, boundary-pushing horror like Al Columbia's work or , and then he still gets these submissions at the level of, like, DC's House of Mystery

Reminder that there's only one more day on the Humble Bundle Humanoids Incal and others bundle

https://www.humblebundle.com/books/incal-and-more-humanoids-books?hmb_source=navbar&hmb_medium=product_tile&hmb_campaign=tile_index_8
I ended up getting it. The actual euro comics look amazing, but the american ones do seem to be your average Image stuff, and not the best kind of Image stuff.
Video game comics: https://www.humblebundle.com/books/from-assassins-creed-to-wolfenstein-books
Worth noting that while it's mostly comics there are also five novels included (3x "Mass Effect", "Gears of War", "God of War").
Presale ($4; 7 hours left) for the third Markosia Comics Bundle from Groupees:
https://groupees.com/markosia3

According to the chat there will be no repeats from the second bundle, one repeat from the first bundle and a few repeats from earlier mixed bundles.
and the Markosia Comics bundle is live. Any repeats from Humble or other sites?
