With the argument over the trademarking of the word Cyberpunk, I thought I'd find the old Cyberpunk 2020 timeline and see where their future gazing went wrong.

There is a few areas where they where disturbingly close though. The unification of Europe, the Euro and various war driven Migration crises.

The Word Cyberpunk has been in trademark since 1988 by R. Talsorian Games, who have for the purpose of the Computer Game transferred that trademark to CDPR.

You can't trademark a word, per se. You can trademark a specific product with that name, but not the word itself.
