Look, I know people ask for it a lot, and I know that, it's not really that up to GOG, BUT, and hear me out, I wonder, just for the sake of it, for people like me that you know, likes a ding now and then, it's not like I go out of my way to get all of them, no, but what if :

Custom made achievements! Kinda like Retroachievements, you know? could be kinda fun, and, I dunno, just throwing ideas out there, sure some people would make dreadful stuff, but others might now, hence, custom, píck your posion, that sort of deal.
Yeah...... nah.
Tomb Raider:
Walked off a cliff 100 times.
If you are into that kind of stuff, with self-imposed achievements or... let's say, "community created" achievements, there are external tools for that.

Also, might just as well ask the developers to add achievements to the game with a direct request and a thread consisting of suggestions, fine-tuning, and so on.

But in all honestly, it sounds like a thing to strive for by yourself, rather than a feature to add. Some people already dislike achievements with a passion, and I'd dread to think what would happen if this ever were a thing.

Not a bad idea, mind you, it is another spin to keep a game interesting and find new motivation, just pointing out that it might not be... "feature-worthy?" in its nature.

Something I really don't get... I for the most part ignore them and have the overlay disabled in Galaxy so they don't distract me. Why "hate" them?

Not that I share their opinion, but from what I recall reading, some consider them a chore, others consider them to be something nagging on their back (as in "you don't have all achievements? you have not truly enjoyed/played the game"), or label them as poor excuses of an attempt to make a game last longer than it should giving it a false sense of replayability...

Take your pick: valid reasons all of them.
In an ideal world this would be funny, but IRL we'd just get crappy meme achievements all the time..

I actually quite like this idea, and the existence of things like speedruns suggests that people already have an interest in playing games their own way. However, it seems like it would be a lot of effort for GOG to make such a system, for basically no payoff.

Tried nude code 100 times. :)
I'm all for adding achievements, they can be good fun to achieve. But custom ones would be a disaster.
