Hi everyone.

Is there no any game version information in the game store page? Like, what is the current version, when the game was last updated? When I'm choosing where to buy a game, on GOG or on Steam, I tend to worry that Steam would have more up to date version than GOG, because there are update log where you can see when was the last patch and what was fixed. On GOG, on the other hand, no such information, I don't know which version I'm getting and if it's up-to-date.

Is there really no such information or I just can't find it? If not, why not ask GOG to add it? And, are there any guarantees that GOG's games are always at the same update version as their Steam couterparts?
Hi. Try:

1. Game specific forums. Some of them have changelog thread posted by members.
2. https://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_what_did_just_update_thread

You can find changelogs by using MaGOG:

Updates are posted by some users in their respective game forums.

New Changelogs are posted here:

Updates for games do tend to take a bit longer to appear on GOG but they do usually arrive.

This thread lists the games that are missing updates:

Thanks for the tips guys. But I do find this very cumbersome. I think it would be a great feature for GOG to list update information on the game store page, especially since there are so many new, modern retro style games which are updated regularly.
