Sabin_Stargem: You might enjoy the PC version of Hamsterball.

Hamsterball
Thanks, looks nice. I'll look into it.

I was first afraid it was one of those games where you must tilt your view with the mouse in order to move the ball, I dislike those games, too disorientating. But a good Marble Madness clone is always welcome.
Commander Keen (especially CK4 onwards) is quite accessible, not too difficult, and has delightful cartoony graphics.

astroclay: I really enjoyed the arcade version of Joe & Mac. It looks great (lightyears ahead of the console ports) and fits somewhere in between a platformer and beat-em-up. It's especially good with 2 players!
I was horrified when I learned that the original title for Joe & Mac was Caveman Ninja. Why on Earth would someone change such awesome title to Joe & Mac?! That's utterly stupid!

About the topic, I'd recommend The Revenge of Death Adder (arcade version of Golden Axe 2, unrelated to the console version). It's super fun. :)

It's actually the other way around. The original Japanese title was Joe & Mac, it's western releases that were renamed to Caveman Ninja.

Well, that I didn't know. Funny thing I've always known the series as Joe & Mac here in Brazil.
Some GOG favorites of mine:

Volgarr the Viking
Freedom Planet
Shovel Knight

KiNgBrAdLeY7: Some good old arcade style games? Like Golden Axe, King of Dragons, Knights of the Round, Warriors of Fate and stuff like that? I suddenly missed the good old days and am itching to relive in the past, so any suggestion you can afford will be much appreciated. My knowledge is limited and i haven't played a big number of games in the past... Thanks in advance.
Open Beats of Rage a side scrolling beat 'em up engine in the style of Steets of Rage & Final Fight; there's mods based on Golden Axe, King of Dragons, Knights of the Round, Warriors of Fate, Dungeons & Dragons, He-Man, Street Fighter, G.I. Joe, et cetera. There's dozens upon dozens hosted on Chrono Crash.

, a 2D one-on-one fighter engine in the style of the Street Fighter series; [url=http://mugen.wikia.com/wiki/The_MUGEN_Database]there's mods based on almost any property one can imagine.
Dragon's Crown, Would not recommend the Vita version as it has framerate issues.
Game looks amazing and is fun to play.
