CarrionCrow: I just had a thought.

GOG should put little blue bars on the side for each title indicating "You must be THIS intelligent to play the game".
That would be fantastic.

moonshineshadow: Nah that would not help since many people assume that they are smarter than they really are :D
GOG Support: But sir, that's and 'idiot' level game, you're clearly a moron. :-)

Edit: And NO, that is NOT a cup holder.

They make you clickie things? That's shocking. I had to get a refund for all my games, nowhere on the requirements section did it say I have to download and install something. GOG is just a big scam. I am never shopping here again. :-)

I know it's not, that's where you post your letters and have them get turned into email. :-)

I know, right? I've gone my entire adult life never even conceiving that PC games might require things like a mouse...or a screen....or a keyboard....or functioning brain cells...and aside from the 185 games on my list, I too am never buying anything from here again! ;)

Here's the thing. That guy mentioned he owned quite a few games on here, close to a hundred I think. I am pretty sure that only a few games do not require a keyboard, so what is he playing the other games on? Surly he must have some kind of PC, could he have not played that particular game on the PC as well?

GOG Tech Support Nightmares? Should that not be in Polish, to make it even more of a nightmare? :-)

35 years in TS here, loved it, always made me feel smart. There were many times all I could do was stand there with my mouth open with no idea what to say. :-)

ddickinson: There is nothing unfortunate about that, nothing to be ashamed of for being a big romantic at heart. I am a huge romantic when it comes to my partner, just not when it comes to books.

As for English authors, well that depends what genre of book you are after. For romantic stories, there are authors like Jane Austen, Shakespeare, or Charlotte Brontë. I am not too up to date on more modern romance authors, due to me not been big on the genre.
Oh, I don't feel ashamed :")
It's just that... well... being romantic is sometimes painful. You have to deal with very strong feelings ; but you cannot take only the good ones, and let the bad ones aside ; it's all or nothing. I tried to muzzle my heart, to protect myself... it worked, for a while (many years) ! :-) But who can (or would like to) indefinitely live without *real* love... (?)

Ever tell anyone the best way to fix their problem was to put the computer back in the box and return it to the store because they were too stupid to own it? :D
avatar
AgentBirdnest: Anyway, good day to everyone. I hope everyone is doing alright.
*hugs for anyone who would like them*

No, but the poor Dell rep did, and got fired for it. :O

I am really luck when it comes to all that. I met my partner when I was 18 and been wonderfully happy ever since. So what ever other crap I have been through, heartache is at least one thing I have been spared.

*hug for a fellow romantic at heart*

So that actually happened? I thought it was an urban legend. Same as the girl complaining the cup holder on her pc broke.
