CarrionCrow: Hmm. Someone I know wants Skyrim. But I know that vanilla Skyrim is a glossy turd of soulless repetition.
Should I mention Morrowind instead? Decisions, decisions.
Mention Neptunia,
drink tears
????
Profit.

Well, personally I thought Morrowind was much more fun. And there are tons of mods around for Morrowind to make the graphics nicer etc, so there is really no advantage that Skyrim has.

I'd recommend Morrowind over Skyrim any day, if the person can handle some older graphics and slow-as-pluck character movement. I'm assuming both of those things can be improved with mods (I've never tried.)
I only played 11 hours of Skyrim before being so bored that I quit forever. Must have spent over a hundred hours in Morrowind though, and didn't get close to finishing it.

What makes you think I hate open-world games? o_O

I had better be saying goodbye. Sorry to leave mid-conversation.

I hope you all have a really lovely rest of the day, and a very fun and relaxing weekend!

Still not interested in digital game deals . I bought the hungarian version of The Improbable Adventures of Sherlock Holmes instead .

I like the hungarian cover art .

Huh? Why is there only half a hole? Where's the other half? :P

I can't really mention that one right now, since the video for Neptunia 2 is putting me off buying it. Can't really recommend, given that.

That doesn't surprise me. Spent so much time in Skyrim, but it never really felt satisfying.
Running around hither and yon for side quests and inventory management lost its appeal.

I spent 100 hours on Skyrim out of sheer unhinged determination. Morrowind will feel like a dream comparatively. -laughs-

Additional - Now feeling like a twit as I watch Gordon Ramsay do salmon like it's frigging nothing, then comparing that to my last fish-related debacle.
