ElTerprise: Oh yes... -.-

That's good to hear - hm...currently scrolling through steam offers and cross-checking with the "For-Uncut" steam-group - but i don't think that i'll buy much there....
Well, at least you'll save some cash that way. Guess that counts as some kind of consolation prize for an unappealing sale.

ddickinson: That would be nice, but have you ever known politicians behave like grown ups? I would not put it past the EU to be vindictive, the old cut their nose off to smite their face approach. But I am hoping not, I hope that this changes very little between the UK and the EU, we could still be close allies despite a few differences.

Random question for Steam users: Why in the sale are some games negatively priced? Are they that bad that they pay you to take them? :-)
You're right. They could behave like idiots. But hopefully, public pressure will help keep them from being absolute morons.

-laughs- It's just broken crap.

For the same reason Free To Play games sometimes have a discount percentage displayed. :P

ElTerprise: I hope the tiredness will be gone soon and that you'll doing good asap :)

Hope so - otherwise drinking loads of it would be kinda pointless ;)
Yes i heard about that yesterday.

Well i've heard of that before...it's a bug...do you have any examples?
Thank you.

True, but it will make you slow down time like Fry did on Futurama. :-)

Well, Strange Space says it is -£2.01 (-226%) on the listings view. But I don't think there is a purchase button on the page for the game. But I am not too sure, I don't really use Steam, I was just curious to see the kind of sale they had on. Does Steam have lots of bugs? I guess GOG is not too bad then if Steam has bugs as well, given that Steam has a lot more money. :-)

j0ekerr: 'Ullo thar' sailor.

So I just heard about the outcome of the whole brexit thing.

How did that saying go: "There are only two infinite things..."?
This kind of thing seems to prove it.
Good morning :)

You're referring to the Einstein quote? Although i recall that it's disputed wthether Einstein actually said that ;)

Granted I have not looked too closely, but I tend to prefer the GOG sales format over Steam's, it seems easier to find the games on GOG. But I guess that is due to the sheer number of games Steam has compared to GOG. Although, from what I have seen many of these Steam games are terrible.

You mean Steam is that loving to their customers they not only give you a game but pay you for it as well? :-)

Good morning!

How are you today?

You're welcome :)

Quite possible :D

Well considering the "quality" of said game i wouldn't be surprise if Valve pays you to sell it :P
But yes - nearly every sale on Steam is prone to glitches... Steam might not be as broken as GOG but it has its fair share of bugs and glitches...

Who first said it is inconsequential, it could be a popular saying for all I care.
A woefully trutfhful one.

This particularly saddens me because I believe that if religion is the opiate of the masses, patriotism is its moonshine.

Now picture a bunch of rednecks drinking stuff brewed in a backyard and getting both horribly wasted and sick over it, but they never stop drinking, because it's their own special self-made brew.

That's my mental picture on the whole situation.

PS: Is moonshine brewed or distilled? You get the picture though.

Without any doubt...
Hmm. Looks like I can wipe out 3/4ths of my Steam list in one shot if I really want to.
Not bad, figured it'd be less.

They're both pretty much the same thing. Apply filters to try to narrow the field down, but you'll still have to go through page by page by page if you want to check the entire sale list.

It would be a silly marketing plot of them though, or do they think the games are so terrible no one would be silly enough to even want them in their collection, even if they are paid to do so. :-)

Have you found any nice games for yourself on the Steam sale so far?

Are you tempted to wipe out that much of your list, or is that just what is on sale from your list?

Luckily I don't buy games from Steam so i won't have go filter through hundreds of pages of terrible games. :-)
Did the Steam sales used to be better? I seem to remember seeing one a while ago and it seemed more... interesting I guess, with bundles and flash deals and things.

There's more than 12K items on sale on Steam.

I'm guessing that'd make it different to find a particular game. :)

That is a lot of games to be on sale. I don't think I ever realised how many games Steam has compared to GOG.

I think you would be right. I guess it would be hard for a developer to sell well if their game was not well known to begin with.

Yeah they did away with the flash deals last sale.
They gave you a reason to come back.
Sales are static the entire sale now.

Fine, just slept terribly.

You doing alright?

Everything on my list is on sale, just don't have the money to grab the more expensive bits.

Yes, the Steam sales did have flash items, things like that. They stopped doing those a while back.

It's at 28 titles right now.
