ddickinson: I know, I wouldn't dare push myself too far and set things back, not after all this time and with all that has happened. I have started working on a few books I started while doing my doctorate, so with any luck I can get them done and maybe published, so that will be nice, and a good way to pass some time.
That's a great pastime you've got going. I'd certainly read a book you wrote. (And then bug you endlessly when the material went over my head. -laughs-)AgentBirdnest

omega64: Hah, I've been putting off replacing my headset for years at this point. I'll manage.
Last thing I did was upgrade my graphics card and that one will be fine for quite a while.
Entire PC was built last summer so I'm sure there won't be any problems soon. :P
Well, there is still plenty of stuff to upgrade... Do you have at least 2GB of Mouse RAM? :-) Last thing I did was upgrade my graphics card and that one will be fine for quite a while.

CarrionCrow: They're great with pizza. The salty, fishy taste cuts through tomato sauce, cheese and meat grease beautifully. (Just try to get ones without bones. They're edible, but it's still frigging weird to chew through them.)
-laughs- Another person trying to say they want the Slaughtering Grounds. Okay, got it. >=)
Huh... Maybe I'll give that a try with my next pizza. Do you order a pizza with them, or put them on yourself? -laughs- Another person trying to say they want the Slaughtering Grounds. Okay, got it. >=)
It doesn't look that bad :-) ... I'm curious is something can be worse than Gods and Generals. Hard to imagine.

Are you implying it is a bug and not a feature? o_O
Well I am sure the books would be quite bland to most people, given that they are non-fiction, me being a historian after all. But if they turn out okay, and if I get them done, I will gladly send you a digital version to read. I am thinking only one of them might be too complex and go over your head (no offence intended), but the other two should be quite open to people of a decent intellect. In fact one will probably be good for all ages. But at the moment it is more of a past time than a serious project, just something I work on now and then when I have little else to do. I am hoping to be back to good health before I finish them, so that will delay them, which is why I am not too caught up in getting them done. But if I do, you are more than welcome to read them.

You can go either way. For a first time, I'd say to go with them on the side. If you don't like them, you're not sacrificing the meal for the sake of trying new things. It doesn't look that bad :-) ... I'm curious is something can be worse than Gods and Generals. Hard to imagine.
Also, did some quick reading. What I was trying to think of was fillets. Those are preferable to me, since they don't have all the bones involved.
There's plenty of absolute garbage on Steam. Haven't played Gods and Generals though, so I can't do a side-by-side comparison.
None taken, I wasn't kidding about figuring the material wouldn't be basic enough for easy absorption.
I appreciate the offer, thank you.
Apologies for leaving mid-conversation, finally starting to get sleepy. Going to take advantage before it goes away and I'm up the rest of the night. Have a good day. =)

No need at all to apologise. We all do it, so never a need to be sorry. Take care, lovely Mr Crow. And have a good night's sleep.I appreciate the offer, thank you.

Yeah, I guess Gods and Generals actually required some money to be physical put on shelves. Steam garbage doesn't have to deal with those costs, so worse crap can get through much more easily.

You could nominate him for it in Zeo's Steam giveaway. I believe there's a copy there. :P

Crow's much grumpier.
I'm much older.
Anchovies taste like a salt block covered in Cod Liver Oil.
It's 06:22 and already warm and humid here and I don't want to go to work.
*hugs, waves, up with pepperoni and down with anchovies*
