I'm pretty excited! I was tinkering in Ren'py (visual novel engine) just for my own amusement trying to make something. I don't have any experience with coding, but I figured out how to code for choices and different scenes. Unless I lose interest, I'm going to make just myself a game! I can't draw for the sprites or backgrounds (but found some nice free ones), and even though I know what I'd like I'm not even that good with writing...but since it's just for me, I'm going to try! :)

Actually, that'd be tomorrow, but let's not nitpick on semantic details.

Speaking of war, the Breach and Clear games were a good buy for me from this sale.
I didn't get much, those games and Dead State were within my budget.

If you're doing it to familiarize youself with python, don't. Ren'py hides actual python behind a curtain and substitutes it with its own script commands.
But if you're doing it for the hell of it. I'd suggest a choose-your-own-adventure style thingie.
They too, had terrible art.
