JunglePredator: The Doom 3 BFG versions suck... better to play them in DosBox honestly.
However setting up Doomsday (https://sourceforge.net/projects/deng/) is easy,,, you just point it at the wads.
It enables a few things for graphics by default... but the main thing is it'll have mouse aiming instead of auto-aim.
Jumping is a mod that stopped working when the engine upgraded... I was never able to get it working again & the author disappeared.
The engine can change between having a very doom/doom 2 feel or a near quake 2 feel.
The textures & extra models take some work but it's not horrible... I can help there if you're interested.
I hope you don't mean free aiming? However setting up Doomsday (https://sourceforge.net/projects/deng/) is easy,,, you just point it at the wads.

I prefer keeping it locked to the X axis, I liked the auto aim.
I don't want any different graphics. :P
Just the originals at a higher resolution so that everything doesn't look all pixel like at a distance.
