AgentBirdnest: I've heard it referred to as a "metroidvania" ... which means nothing to me.
"metroidvania" means it incorporates the exploration and slow upgrade progression of Metroid (primarily the "you can't go here until you get X upgrade" part) with the action/semi-linear gameplay of Castlevania.

ddickinson: it looks like a lovely game, but I just don't think I would play it anytime soon, or if it is really for me. What do you think of the bundles so far? I think there has been a nice mixture so far.

Who knows, it just seems strange that some games are okay being in bundles for so cheap but often don't have a big sales discount, like Lifeless Planet, for example.
It is a nice variety, yeah. Something for almost everyone so far. Shooters, strategy, adventure, indie... Not many RPGs so far (which is not a problem for me :-D) except for the Fallout games, which could use a better discount. I'll never be able to look at that Fallout bundle without thinking "these used to be so much cheaper... and even free at one point."

Journey to the Center of the Earth is another that I waited ages and ages to go on sale here, and it never did... and suddenly appeared DRM-free with a soundtrack on Humble for a penny with other games. Why do I get pissed off when that happens? When I am getting a game for almost nothing? :-p

Alright, I understand the Metroid part. I played that as an Agent-in-training... But I have no idea who Castelvania is :-)

I am sure we will be getting a D&D or RPG bundle at some point. Yes, Bethesda were really nice in their handling of Fallout when bringing it back. More expensive and with less extras. AAA publishers at their finest. :-)

It is strange that many games have extras on Humble that they won't sell on here despite the games being full price. But who knows how it all works.

Another somewhat famous Nintendo game.

Although really, "metroidvania" games borrow more from the RPG elements of the "Symphony of the Night" game from the series.

The semi-weekly D&D bundle for $22 will almost certainly make an appearance :-) .... Unless it has changed, now that the Baldur's Gate games can only be bought with the remastered editions? :-| We'll see, I guess... Any bundles that you'd like to see?

Gog only knows, as I like to say :-)

How about a DD bundle with all the games left on my wishlist at at least 75% off? :-)

There ya go :-)

I'll accept that.
The grand irony in this is that I like cats better.

That would be lovely. A Battle Sister Bundle :-) Better hurry up and add more games to your wishlist, just in case they do make a bundle based on it ;-p

I can't, those are the only ones I want. :-)
And even then I will not have even a quarter of the games on GOG. But I am not greedy, the games I have are more than enough. :-)

Not fair! You guys are always bullying me into adding games to my wishlist! ;-p

Have you not heard the saying "Do what I say, not what I do"? :-)

I do add games I look forward to playing, but with my current mood and the fact my computer is not the most powerful that means fewer games are appealing to me, unless I want to play hundreds of retro inspired pixel games that all mesh together to seem like the same game. :-)
*hugs and waves*
