omega64: Poisoned cookies.

Hi there.
avatar
FearfulSymmetry: I'm sure I could find an antidote somewhere ... They seem too good to pass up on.

Hey, how are you?

avatar
Yezemin: Hello, Fearful! *big hug*

I wouldn't try DD's latest batch of cookies if I were you.
avatar
FearfulSymmetry: Hey! *hug* Are you doing all right?

Such a shame ... Why do all good things have to be poisonous? :P

avatar
FearfulSymmetry: Oh hey, are those speculaas? :P *munches on cookie*

How are you doing, DD?

avatar
JoeyMallone: *big hug* Good mornoon, Ms Metry! I see your avatar finally changed :-D
avatar
FearfulSymmetry: *huge hug* Hello Agent, I hope you're doing at least all right today. :)

Yes, at last! Only took like two weeks. :P
I suddenly have a craving for Bastogne. :l
I'm doing ok I guess.

I don't know, I just googled Dutch cookies, and I saw windmills and I thought I would be stereotypical. :-)

I am good, thank you.

P.S. My little exciting news from earlier if you wanted to read it:

Shame on you. Speculaas is great though.

I'm doing fine. :)

It's ok though. DD also gives out non-poisoned cookies. She's nice that way.

Definitely, and if they really are made of speculaas it's even more stereotypical. :P

Oh wow, that is such great news! I am really happy for you and your partner. I hope everything will go great and you'll be parents in no time. I understand your apprehension about sharing it, since these things can be quite difficult, but it seems like you have the determination and strength to see it through. *huge celebratory hug*

I have an odd craving for cherry coke ...

Hopefully that 'ok' will turn into something better soon. :)

Good to hear that. :)

True enough! She doesn't always try to poison us. ;)

I doubt that. :(
It'll probably persist this month and probably the next. :l

Thanks. Your hope is accurate today :-)

How about your Symmetrical self? Doing alright?

Hahaha, good to hear. Hopefully it will stay that way, then. :)

The ears are still giving me some trouble, but I have an appointment for Thursday morning. Other than that I'm doing all right, working on some essays and such. And I'm about to go see a movie. :P

'spose shaking you like a coconut tree wouldn't help, would it? As my mom always used to say to me when I felt ill all the time, "What are we going to do with you?" ):-\
:-)

Sounds like a good way to unwind. Any particular movie planned?
avatar
omega64: Which movie?
The Forest. It's a horror movie.

Mwahahaha.

No, that would probably just wreak havoc on my neck. :P Although my grandfather did have something like that happen to him, according to my grandmother. He was into bicycle racing and one day while practicing in the forest his tires slipped over a root and he fell, severely injuring his back. The injury appeared permanent and he was troubled by it for several years. Then, one day, while playing with my mother and aunt on the trampoline, he fell down and hit his back on the edge of the trampoline. The funny thing? It was right as rain again after that. His back never troubled him again. :P

The Forest. Some nice horror is always relaxing. :P

Holy pluck! :-O That's incredible! So... hurry up and get on a trampoline already ;-)

As long as it isn't a horror movie about writing essays, I'm sure you'll enjoy it :-p

Knowing my luck, I'd probably break my neck rather than fix anything. :P But it is a pretty awesome story.

Hahaha, I'm pretty sure it isn't. And thanks! See you all later. :)
