I think I had better try to at least get some sleep, not sure it will do much good, but worth a try.

Goodnight, everyone. Take care and have a lovely day!

*goodnight hugs, and some silly waves. And yes, this time I spelt it properly with an "s", not a "w"* :-)

CarrionCrow: It's managing a webcam porn business. So yeah, it's still got a similar overall tone to the first game.

Hell, I'm still fighting the urge to just grab a bunch of cheap stuff from GOG on retail, solely to make my list smaller. -laughs-

That's part of the "fun", that it can all go sideways even if you have no conscious reason you can think of to explain why it went wrong.
I figured as much, well, I figured it would be something like that, not that it would be a webcam business.

I know, but hopefully you can hold off and keep that money for games you really want rather than little games you might hate.

Oh I can think of many things that have got my mind on overdrive, but I am not sure what specific thing caused it to be this bad again. But I will be saying goodnight and try to get some sleep or just relax for a while. I hope you have a lovely evening.

I hope you're able to get some rest. Have a good night. =)

Hmm...I didn't know you did the whole doctor gig on the side.

Neither did I, which explains the lawsuits! HarHarHarheh

How is your night going?

I would've figured the power drill was the root cause of those lawsuits...

Doing all right here. Games, videos, all the usual stuff. Nothing too terribly exciting.

How was your day?
*big hugs and waves all around*

Hey, fine folks of the thread! Just played (and beat) Moon Hunters, which is quite adorable, but very short. I think it'll be great for little 15 minute bursts of couch co-op, and looks like it'll have plenty of replayability for that purpose. :)
I hope you are all well!

Well I for one believe that the power drill should've been sued instead of me, how was I supposed to know that it wasn't a one size fits all type of tool? It should've spoke up or something but noooo it didn't say a stinkin' word, the jerk.

Things are going okay here, listening to music (Warrant right now), apartment hunting, getting on waiting lists and getting bored with that whole process.

Oh and yes, Warrant. Once they kinda moved on from 80s rock they released some great tunes. The first two albums (the first especially) have their cheesetastic moments but their third album Dog Eat Dog (while still hard rock based) was solid all the way through and covered some fairly dark topics, Belly To Belly Vol 1 does as well (though it strayed from hard rock into 90s alt-y rock) and Ultraphobic has a great mature stripped down ballad named Letting Go.

A lot of 80s hair metal bands updated or outright changed their sound and released some great albums in the 90s too, they just went ignored for the most part.

NoNewTaleToTell:
That sounds like...not fun...for a number of the things you're doing.

I'm not surprised that their later stuff got ignored. Hair metal was so over the top, it seemed like people needed a massive collective break from anything that even reminded them of it.

Yeah, apartment hunting isn't fun, but at least I'm back to the "actually being able to afford an apartment" stage of my life :P

True. Which is funny (well not funny but ya know, expressions and all that) because there was a wave of grounded, street level, punk influenced heavy hard rock bands popping up at the same time as the stupidly over the top hair bands made it big, both died but sadly only the over the top bands are remembered. While bands like Pretty Boy Floyd were getting the deals and getting pushed, there were tons of awesome bands like the Glamour Punks (terrible name, GREAT band) stuck on the strip.

On that note, recommendation of the day is Glamour Punks: Hated By Millions.

Good evening. =)

Can't complain here, hopefully you're having a pleasant night as well.

CarrionCrow: That's the eternal pro/con of a crazy large backlog. But if you're still enjoying getting more games and your list isn't empty, keep going for it. =)

-laughs- Fuck it, I don't mind a conversation that goes four or five days, one post every 4 to 8 hours at a time. ;)
Hello!
Alright... Seems I'm even slower now but if you don't mind :P
Got my new side job going, and coming home late seems to be the standard procedure for now... And being mighty tired. But I'm sure it will change at some point.

How are things around here?

When you're trepanning everyone in town with it, you can't go assuming one size fits all. ;)

I've never given Warrant's later albums a listen. I can't imagine them being anything but a hair metal band, so now I'm curious. I'm currently listening to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XlLCeg97gk (I just got a replacement copy of this album in the mail, as my first copy had an audible defect on side a that was really loud and unpleasant, and now that I have a good copy I'm really enjoying it. One of my favorite musicians for many years, and so far one of my favorite albums of the year.)

Quite a pleasant evening, thanks! Glad you're doing well yourself. I'm kind of hoping I'll get sleepy soon, but if not, I'll probably play a bit more Batman Arkham City. Or actually, I may go seach for Fargo and restart Season 1. That way I don't have to worry about getting bored if I miss my sleep window. :)

Very true, and quite glad about that. Fingers crossed that you find a cool, affordable place to call your own. =)

The grounded bands got buried in all the bullshit theatrics...

-laughs- Doesn't bother me, don't worry about that.

Yeah, I'm sure it is with you doing two jobs. You'll get used to the extra work, I'm thinking, but you're still going to be totally wiped out for a while until you do.

Not bad here. Transitioning from managing webcam girls to shotgunning demons in the face. Could be worse.

Good options either way. In your position, I'd go with Fargo since I tend to doze off with TV if I'm already tired while watching. Video games are stimulating enough (usually) to keep me awake longer.

zeogold: Pardon me for stepping in at the moment here, folks, but I have a special request:
cecil has indicated privately that he's been feeling a bit lonely/unloved recently. So, could those of you who know he's a great guy send him a PM with a nice message or a hug or some flowers or a funny joke or something?
Thanks, that's all.
Edit: Oh, and don't let on I asked this, please.
Thank You All you all made my day with your lovely messages :-)
