Fantasysci5: Milk I can feel full, sometimes it will be all that I eat/drink in a day. :P I think if I had to pick a last meal, the food/drink I love most in the world, it really would be chocolate milk, I'm not even joking.
Nothing wrong with that. I've had days where soda or coffee were all I had, and it was fine.

superstande: Hello!
Better sleep as you see best, we wouldn't want to see/hear your grumpiness here all the time :P ..Just kidding...
No, actually I am open to all kinds of food. Did some travelling in Asia when I didn't have huge chunks of money but wanted to visit many places... Ended up eating local food a lot. Western food in general is more expensive, at least in some countries. But you are right, Finns use a lot of dill, especially in fish foods.

Yeah, I loved the music. Quite relaxing, thank you! ... I used to have really bad mornings some years ago... And some Coltrane while having my morning coffee would change the mood just totally. Jazz is awesome :)
Morning souper, I'll try not to be grumpy here. ;-)

But I'm starting to feel that way with the slowness of my connection today, it's hard to get any pages to load and the chat took forever to let me reply to you. I don't take kindly to spinning wheels when I'm trying to get things done. grump grump...

I also like all kinds of food, love Asian food and trying new things. I'm a long way from the sea now, so fresh fish is not freely available, unlike in your country. It's a pity, but the fruit and vegetables are plentiful and very good. Not much dill, it's hard to grow in the heat.

A little morning Chet Baker, I can't get Youtube to run at all today, but I'm playing this one on my iPod, so I hope you enjoy it. Chet Baker and coffee - a good combo..

Sorry to interrupt the milkshake fest, but I posted this ages ago, and it hasn't shown up. Glad I'd saved a copy.

I'm off now, end of free internet time is rapidly approaching. Hope to see some of you here tomorrow. :-)

True, but I am very unhealthy. Yesterday the only thing I are was some cookies and milk. :P But I actually ate food today! lol Sorry, didn't mean to steer the conversation into food. How are you today? :)

-laughs- There's no such thing as a set topic in here. It's whatever comes up, until something else comes up.

Can't complain here. Played some games, did some stuff around the house, ran errands. Just the usual array of things.
How're you doing?

But...but....that's the best direction to drive ANY conversation into!

Just realized, you might not have seen my message to you with your net being so horrible.

Have a good, peaceful day, Zen lady. =) I hope that your internet will be in better shape later on.

What games did you play? I'm fine. Just chatting with you fine people and my friends on SG chat.

Ummm...

Beat Thomas Was Alone, I started and have almost beaten Limbo, played enough Bit Trip Runner to get angry again and shut it off...-laughs-

SG chat? Getting the feeling I'll be totally wrong, but the only abbreviation for that coming to mind is Suicide Girls.

I've played Limbo. Nice atmosphere, and short enough for me to actually finish. I have so many started games that I haven't bothered to finish, and lots I haven't even started.

Oh, sorry. Steam Gifts chat, it's a Steam group for the Steamgifts website. It's just random chatter, but I'm in there everyday and like being known. Soemtimes I feel closer to my "online" friends than I do with my "real life" friends.

-laughs- You're not the only one. Sitting on 15 games in progress at the moment, with over a thousand still to go.

No need to apologize. If anything, thank you for indulging my idle curiosity.

That's understandable. It's good to have a place where you know the people, and they know you.

As for the friends thing, all my friends are online. They're scattered all over the planet, but they're who I'm close to.

I'd say most of my closest friends are online as well. I've been fortunate enough to meet two of my online group of friends, and it was amazing to get to meet them in person. I've joined Tumblr and wish I could make some fandom friends, but not really sure how to go about it. :P I hang out occasionally with people I know in my area, but it just doesn't feel as strong of a connection. Much rather be on these forums and on the chat I was talking about. You guys are awesome. :)

Also, random question. Is my new avatar showing up, the one of just me? When I look in the forum I see my old avatar with me and my husband, but when I log in and look at my account it shows my new one.

That's very cool. =)

I'm envious. If I ever rob a bank, I'll have the money to run around and meet everyone in person I've met here...

Hmm. Maybe check for forums, larger places where groups of fans get together?

Yeah, I like this better. Have been fortunate enough to meet a lot of good people here, and there's always the possibility of getting to talk with more. =)

No, it's not. A number of people have had a bug for days now preventing their avatar changes from showing.
If I hold my cursor over your old picture, the view wishlist and start conversation section shows a tiny version of your new one, but that's it.

Glitch in the forum that's been around for at least a couple weeks. It takes, at minimum, at least 3 days for the sucker to show up. And that's if you're lucky.

It was pretty amazing. I was on the AdventureGamers.com forums, and made a lot of international friends there. I had been saving up to go to England for my whole life, and got to go for my honeymoon and a group of the AGers thought to have a meetup in England when I would be there. And then I met two other online friends just here in the US when I happened to be going to their state. So if you just want to meet one of your online friends, and wouldn't feel too awkward, it doesn't have to be too expensive enough to rob a bank. :P

Ah, thanks for telling me about the bug. Glad I'm not the only person it's happening to.

Thanks Zeo. Just don't look at my avatar for three days! :P

I'm headed to bed, have a good day guys! <3

That's extremely cool. Definitely making the very best of the opportunity.

Oh yeah I will...
Just getting a few people together at the same time on here can be hard. Doing that in person would probably take a miracle.

Not a problem. Yeah, it's GOG being somewhat broken one more time. It'll probably be straightened out in a few days time.

Have a good night, sleep well. =)
