Ixamyakxim: I don't know what this says about me, but I suddenly feel like going fishing with a giant pizza. Oddly enough, I'm in the mood for thin crust, just cheese. And I haven't fished in years with really no good excuse.
avatar
zeogold: Maybe you were delayed by the women and computers.
Now to find a way to integrate all four? The sticking point I think is that for the fishing, I envision a quiet wooded pond / stream and while I'd feel like an oddball for doing it, I COULD perhaps wing a pizza out there. Where as to incorporate the computer and women, I'm getting more of an offshore vibe and that dulls the fun of said fishing (again, I'm leaning idyllic woodland, not ocean jetting). Choices, choices...

Tablet with a solar charger to keep the women amused while you're fishing?
(One of these days the anti-chauvinism police are going to get me)

I'm reminded of a television show (I'm almost 90% certain it was actually a cartoon called Family Guy - sue me, I used to watch cartoons ;) ) - the male shows up, slaps a dead fish down on the counter and says "Honey, I got dinner ready! Now all you have to do is filet it, cook it and serve it - gees I'm going to nap now, I'm exhausted. Was out all day fishin'." Prior to this scene, they show the wife around the house, cleaning, taking care of the kids maybe even putting out a fire LOL.

I could continue to be a smart ass but I have to say that my ex and I used to do the housework on Saturday so we could both fish on Sunday.
<Now back to my regularly scheduled behavior>

EndreWhiteMane:
I always thought this is the best way to do it - makes the less fun bits a bit more so when shared, and makes the fun times even better! Plus, well - doing it this way you're already half way to the magical pizza / fishing / woman / computer nirvana. Probably the most difficult half... assuming that magic solar power tablet thingee exists ;)

See I knew secretly you didn't have to worry about getting these guys off your back!

The solar charger is easy. The second woman, not so much. :-)

LOL this is a great response - I missed the second woman somewhere in there - yup, that's probably going to be the tough one! I'm off for the moment - going to get in a bit of game time before calling it a night, though I'm sure it's more likely than not I'll pop in should anything go horribly wrong and / or fun during gaming.

Have fun and sleep well when you get to that point.

CarrionCrow: -laughs- She didn't "best" stuff. She's been killing the everloving shit out of things, regularly and rapidly.
That number puts her at 18 kills a day, every day as an average.
That's a "I need to knife a family of four before breakfast, just to keep my numbers up" degree of murderous impulse.
There are gravediggers who are set for life living and working, following in the wake of your character's "besting" things into bloody heaps of meat. -giggles-
Well...that DOES sound like her...and you just gave me an idea for a mod to make haha. How are your games treating you?

I got to the very last level of Crimsonland the other day but haven't had time to play it again.

I'm stuck with just my phone for the next few days, so if anybody has some recs...let me hear 'em. I'm on an small Android (LG Leon) phone with unlimited 4G LTE and would prefer something like a turn based RPG or 4X game. I know there are two Spiderweb Software games on Android but eh...I'd rather have them on PC, especially since neither has its sequel on Android.

Anyway, I start traing for my job tomorrow so that's cool. According to the manager I should get at least 30 hours a week at $9 an hour and both the hours and wages could increase soon. So yep...I'm definitely excited!

I hope life is treating you all decently enough!

-laughs- Glad I could be of assistance.

Not too badly here. Pony Island's done, that makes three games gone in the last week. Not a bad speed, if I can keep it up. Now it's just deciding which of the 12 or so I have lined up to go for next.

Hmm. No clue if they'll play well on your phone, but I know that they have Final Fantasy games, Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, Icewind Dale and Knights of the Old Republic 1 out for Android.

That is definitely cool. Fingers very much crossed that everything goes great with the new job. =)

Story's fine, basic experience is good, some meta, some light platforming, some puzzles, a bit of humor, collectible hunting is a hassle that detracts from it. Avoid the hunting unless you get a wild hair to complete it all, enjoy it for what it is, spend a few hours and call it done.
There is a second ending, but it's at the end of the collectible hunting. In my opinion, not worth the effort.

Hi everyone - hope you are all well - or at least improving, Crow. Sorry to read that you weren't well, that sounds nasty. Have you tried lemon and honey for the cough?
Codeine is great for stopping coughs, but perhaps it wouldn't go well with other pills you are taking?

moonshineshadow: *reading hug* ;-)
Good morning, Moon, when you wake. Thank you for the hug - here's a big Tuesday Zenhug for you. Hope your day will be a very happy one.

akhliber: *Good morning hugs and waves*

Been cuddling Sarge, who is *so* sleepy from his stay in boarding. They play hard there, and he always comes home exhausted. He finally just crawled back into his kennel and curled up in his blanket. Pooped pup. I'm dying for some coffee, but I don't want to scare him with the sound of it brewing.
......
Hi akhliber, good to see you after all this time, I have missed reading all about the wonderful Sarge.
He definitely needs a little more training, though, can't have you foregoing your coffee because the noise would scare him. Better make lots of coffee when he's around, so that he gets used to it. ;-)

Good morning. =)

It's okay, nothing to worry about. The weather's fluctuated so much here over the season, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner.

Actually, thank you for reminding me. Forgot that there was honey in the house again. If it doesn't improve on its own, I'll go that route.

I don't think that would have a bad interaction with anything. I just try to avoid treating things heavily unless I have no choice.

But enough about me. That crap's boring on a good day. How are you doing this morning?

I'm doing well, thank you. :-) Just setting up another game download, the GOG downloader works fast, unlike Galaxy which is slow and deletes everything in the queue when I shut it down, although they say it is not supposed to do that.

Honey is wonderful stuff, keep some next to your desk and it should help relieve the cough. Sleep would help also, hope you get some proper sleep soon.

It's peaceful and quiet this morning, only the sound of some doves cooing. The hadedas have gone off exploring elsewhere, it seems. I can hear them in the distance, hope they stay there for a while. ;-)
