Another Shadowrun: Dragonfall update from yours truly,

So the save file wasn't a dud, the game was just being finicky, of course. Before I started my current mission I finally splurged on some new spells and bought some armor for the first time (level 6 armor). Let me tell ya, having two different spells that render enemies useless for two turns really breaks the game...and I couldn't be happier! My character *really* feels like a mage now.

On my current mission I'm stuck with only one ally but thanks to these two spells we're having zero issues. I can only imagine what it'll be like when I have a full team around my character again. I also love that (in this current mission) doing some seemingly pointless (and annoying to your ally) rummaging leads to opportunities that you (probably) wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

I love this series, I can't wait to try Shadowrun: Hong Kong. Even if it's just "more of the same" it should be great.

It was certainly never the game's strong point. Which is just fine. Not all games need to have a good story- they can just be fun :-)

That's what it looks like when I try to say "Happy Saturday" before I'm fully awake :-p ... I'm awake now though, and doing quite well. Munching some leftover pizza, and thinking about which game to play next (I finished Among the Sleep. Nice game.) S'pose I'll finish up my (Shadow)run of Dragonfall. But I'm also considering starting a new game of Torchlight; it's been a few years since my last one.

I probably still have a Torchlight save floating around somewhere in the Steamcloud... But I'd rather just start from the beginning anyway, with a fresh character. I always love doing that, especially if it's been a long time since playing.
