I've just found out about the Nintendo NX.

That was completely expected considering the record breaking unsales of the Wii U.

j0ekerr: What no love for the banner saga?

Not a hero looks a lot like Broforce in concept and graphics.

You know if they hadn't included Infamy I'd be more interested in the Quests bundle.
I was going by experience in playing it. Still haven't gotten around to that one.

Not A Hero is based around achieving goals, to get extra stars, so you can unlock more characters and eventually get the best ending.
Problem is, Not A Hero also has no map function. So you end up replaying the same levels trying to first locate what you're supposed to do, then trying to get to all the necessary points within the time limits given.
And that's not even mentioning the annoying levels where one of the achievements is to not get melee attacked.
The basis of attack is to slide, then shoot. But you can slide, get behind an enemy, and they'll still be able to turn around instantly and hit you. Level fucked, reload, start over.

Stilton: Would they? I'd've (mmm, apostrophes) thought that it would be down to units sold regardless of how long the sale runs. Cheaper units means more sold. Longer sale and cheaper units means more more sold. I think Steam have low low prices because they're a behemoth and just about everything and everyone wants to be sold through them. Sooo much of whats available is Steam-only that its almost sickening. But who wants to run with the crowd? Gimme GOG.
I noticed that some deals for rentals weren't nearly as heavy during their last sale as they've been on other occasions. Some companies aren't willing to put their titles up at crazy low prices for the entire week or more.

Empress_Owl: Like you could have 'enough' games... meheh.
There are here some people who really like you, and are happy to buy you even more games. More than you can ever handle. You'd better deal with it !! ;-p hihi
It's 2015 now. I have enough to last me playing 8 hours a day until the year 2025. That's not even an exaggeration.

Also, I've only got 35 titles left on my list. The amount of things I have any interest in continues to steadily decrease.
I wanted Warhammer. Now I have them all. Same with Star Trek, and Call of Cthulhu, and all the Gold Box games, and Nordic, and Interplay, and Infinity Engine, and on and on and on it goes. Everything gets wiped out in the end.

That's extremely kind of you, and the thought is always appreciated. Still up to my eyeballs in gear, though. ;)

j0ekerr: Edit: Hurm prepositions. I'm now wondering if you play a game on the computer or in it?
Technically, the game consists of data contained within the computer itself. So for that, you are playing a game in the computer.
The use of the term "what does that game run on?" seems to have been based on a kind of slang usage meaning what system a game is available on.

Good evening, people of the quiet little thread!

How are you all this wonderful evening?

I am actually feeling a lot better than I was a few days ago, which is great, although I still feel like death warmed up. I am still quite tired, but not feeling anywhere near as drained and worn out, which is good.

Life drains. You know what helps? Getting somewhat drunk and horror-porn.. Now it sounds good and stuff but I'm totally noob with horror-porn.

*utter silence moment*

..yeah well, that did just happen. =P

OK here.

moonshineshadow: At the moment it is working fine for me.
Maybe it is just me. Or maybe I am still so sleepy that I think I have sent message when I haven't. :-)

Work was fine and my weekend has been lazier than it should have been. :-)

That does not sound too bad. Although I think I have you beat on the lazy weekend thing. I have been up for a few hours, which has been nice, but for the most part I have slept the whole weekend. I am still very tired, so I would not put it past me sleeping for ages again when I go to sleep after my nice warm drink. Maybe Owl can make me a lazy-arse badge. :-)

You're not lazy, your sick. I'm the real thing. :-)
