CarrionCrow: Well, it did start to involve my hitting the space bar harder...and harder...and harder, until I eventually started thinking that peripheral manufacturers do a pretty good job just to keep that bit of plastic from flying off.
I had an IBM PS/2 keyboard. I could have used that thing to club someone to death with it and later type a report on the amusing shapes of their blood stains without a single key malfunctioning.
Alas I do not have it anymore, it fell prey to that most voracious and unrelentless destroyer of all. The cleaning obsessed parent who keeps referring to all of your old stuff as junk.
CarrionCrow: Also started experiencing some virtual input distortion. It's a bit strange to experience something as going both slow
and fast simultaneously.
You've reminded me of something I used to experience a lot when I was a kid, particularly when I was very tired but could not or would not sleep. Things seemed to happen as if slightly sped up, yet at the same time, I perceieved individual events as happening slower than usual. It was an odd sensation.
AgentBirdnest: No, ElT is the evil one :-)
*big smiling hug*
But... but ElT is made of pudding.
Thus he cannot be evil.
QED.
