It's true. Mostly we just eat cows, pigs, chicken, and turkey. Usually only the not-as-cute adults though. Some people like veal, which I've never tried, and don't want to :-|
Lamb is much less popular here, as far as I know, but is still eaten by plenty of people. Some people eat deer, and many people where I live actually hunt them for themselves (I could never do that.) And there are probably some good looking fish mashed up in all that tuna, I dunno :-p
Don't you eat baby as well in the US? I am often hear mention to you eating a baby called Ruth in US movies, like the Goonies. :-)

LOL... true. We are very disturbing people >:-)
I don't really know what animal(s) of what ages are in my food. Or what other random ingredients (shoes, space shuttle tires, ground up copies of E.T. The Video Game?) I just enjoy the taste and try not to think about any of it >__o
I wouldn't be surprised if I become a vegetarian at some point.

Let's hope it stays that way for you. I have not played Silent Service, I think I have them on GOG but I have just not played them yet.

Well, let me ask you this: is your meat fresh and from places like butchers or farmers, or is it processed and from stores like super markets and places like that? If it is processed, then don't look into how it is made, it is often not nice, especially where and how they get the meat. (Lots of it is mechanically recovered meat from bone.)

I see… a vegetarian. I am not buying that, you are only doing that to seem cool and pick up the ladies. :-)
Good morning, people!

I hope the weekend is treating you well.

The local grocery store gets shipments of fresh meat from nearby farms... but... well, I usually don't get that stuff, because I'm lazy... Fast food tastes okay to me, as long as I don't look at it or think about it :-p

Hey, it worked for Weird Al Yankovic ;-p

Fast food? So you are eating babies, cats, dogs, owls, shoes, and anything else they could find all groud up into meat coloured paste? :-)

I have no idea who Weird Al Yankovic is.

ddickinson: Good morning! Sorry I missed your post earlier, I am trying my best to keep up.

How are you today?

I had something to ask you about a Finnish book, but I can't remember the book. If I remember I will be sure to ask someday. It was an old book referred to as the Finnish Illiad, and it sounded interesting and apparently it is quite popular in Finland. But my mind just went blank. I guess that will teach me for not writing it down. Oh well. :-)
Hi,
No worries... As you see I am an adept in the Way of Post-Missing :P
I'm fine thanks...watching Resident Evil movies.

Maybe you mean Kalevala?

No, I eat a hamburger. Any words beyond that don't matter to me. *runs off with fingers in ears, shouting LA LA LA LA LA* :-)

He is the world's greatest and most famous music parodist (and once upon a time, an excellent movie parodist as well.)

Technically is impossible to be a vegetarian as you are always eating some kind of animal when you eat. :-P

I don't think most of us minds when people miss posts, we know it is not done out of rudeness.

I am glad to hear you are doing fine. I have seen the Resident Evil movies. They are, well a mess, especially the later ones. I watched them with my brothers and some of the movies make no sense and just seem to be random bits stuck together with no plot or explanations.

That is indeed the book. I said it was popular in Finland. :-)
Do you know if the book is any good? It looked interesting, and I am always keen to read the highly regarded classical work of different regions. But I am never too sure these days. I will have a better look at the book later, I had only seen a brief paragraph on it and it did interest me, especially with the comparison to Homer's Illiad and the Odyssey (not so much in plot but in the feel of the book).
