toxicTom: Hehe... I won't really know. Didn't have to to follow the thread much. Most of the time I conversed with people via chat.
No worries. I have found it hard to keep up for a while due to me not being too well. Being ill seems to make my dyslexia worse as well, so it is a challenge making sure I don't end up writing a bunch of dribble. I can keep up okay for a while, but if the place becomes too busy or I just reach a certain point then I have to take a break from the thread and maybe just stick to chat for a while.

Do you have anything nice planned for your weekend?
avatar
ddickinson: That is great to hear. I got my test results back yesterday, and while not the best I think it was good news. See my reply to Owl above for a little more info, as I am not really in the mood to keep repeating myself today. Put it down to me feeling like death warmed up today, or that I am just lazy, I don't mind either excuse. :-)

See anything from the weekend promo you like?

*massive hug*
Glad to hear there is some improvement! I'll keep my *fingers crossed* that it continues.
One of the benefits of a forum over face-to-face talking is that you usually don't have to repeat yourself. If someone misses something, they just browse back a little, and voilà :-)

Of course I see something I like. Games. I like all games ;-) Nothing that jumps out at me, and nothing from my list. One game that interests me a little, but it is a sequel, and I must play the first game before thinking of anything else ;-p

Thank you.

I know, but I do feel a little rude saying "read above". I don't want people to think that is a reflection of anything on them, it is just time saving and saves repeating myself.

What game has caught your eye that is a sequel? I have a few games that could go on my wishlist, but I need to play the first game before I even consider adding the sequel(s).

Don't mind me, but eh..

Vroom vroom!
I need a hug só badly now. Maybe if a certain Owl or Battle Sister or even an Agent came to hug me,I would be só happy.
Anyway,I'm sick. Good ol' Flu got me.

j0ekerr: Good moaning.
Ye Gods my back's killing me.
Just popping by to say hello.
I'm currently at the library trying to work out what this guy called Gauss did with matrices. I think when he was done with them, the poor things needed to point out on a doll where where he'd bad touched them.
avatar
ddickinson: Hello, Mr Rabbit!

Sorry to hear you are having back problems. I hope it is nothing serious?

Is matrices the maths matrices, the kind that goes with vectors and are used a lot in graphics programming?
Thanks for your concern, no I don't think so. It's your typical neck cramps from a bad posture. And yes, it's exactly those kinds of matrices.
Yarrr me eyes da weekend promo n realizes that me booty is still lacking. I will remedy dat situation tonite.

Well, back to the amazing world of math... Sigh.

Other than having the flu how are you? Are there any games you really want from the weekend promo?

That is good, hopefully that means you can feel better in no time.

I have not really done much on vectors and matrices, just a bit while I dabbled with programming while at University (just for fun, not my actual course).

There are some nice classics on the promo, and again we have a new release that is part of the promo, which is a cool idea.

Good luck with your maths. :-)

I guess I understand, I feel that way sometimes too. But when someone says it to me, I never take it as rude. I guess I should take some lessons from myself... (wait, what? >__o ... nevermind.)

As long as everybody promises not to gift it to me... There was some conversation about Two Worlds 2 yesterday, and it boosted my interest a bit. But I haven't even tried Two Worlds 1 yet. I must play the first game first. Plus, it might not be my type of game at all, so I'll wait to try the first game before thinking anymore about the sequel.

Blech. Sorry to hear that :-(
Seems we can't keep this thread health these last couple weeks...

Okay, I promise no gifting the game. The good thing is that Two Worlds 2 is often on sale, so you can be sure to get it cheap when/if you decide to pick it up. I have both of the Two Worlds games, but have not played either of them yet. Like most of my GOG games. :-)

Doing quite well outside of the lack of sleep. I really have my eye on the Falcon Collection and the Earth 21XX games.

Hum hum. It will probably be this price again during the holiday sale, and "I'm sure"™ that I'll have played the first game by then (I said that before the summer sale too :-p)

*big hug for Agent-kun* Now if excuse me,I shall brush my teeth. I hate morning breath especially the taste of it.

Empress_Owl: Any thoughts ?... well... Simulation games (flight simulators...)
Looks like 3 of them, including the new (classic) release. Any other predictions? Who will win the World Cup? :-)

...
So... It seems that Friday is the new "classic release" day? It has been for the last 3 Fridays now, if I'm not mistaken?
*hugs everyone* :)

That is good to hear. I hope you will be feeling better soon, and that you will be able to get some more sleep.

I think I am not even at 10% played with my backlog. Being ill at the moment and previously working for 18+ hours a day for a while meant that I have not really had much time to play, especially given that I only really play games when not spending time with my partner (which is what I do with most of the spare time we have together, not that I mind, I would have it no other way), unless we are playing a game together.

Do you know roughly the percentage played of your backlog?
