NoNewTaleToTell: I'm left wondering...is Daikatana really so bad that it's not worth $1.49?
Maybe I have a greater than average tolerance of B level FPS, but it doesn't look so bad to me. I get that it didn't come anywhere close to living up to its hype, but that (to me) doesn't make it a bad game, and I've enjoyed a lot of games that critics hated to be fair.
How about Total Overdose: A Gunslinger's Tale In Mexico? It looks like it could be "dumb fun" but also looks like it could be too dumb to enjoy. Despite liking the Saints Row series, I generally have a pretty low tolerance for dumb random humor.
Then there is the Legacy of Kain series. Am I correct in thinking that GOG is missing the first game in that series? If so, how important is that first game?
Anyway, I hope the time of day is treating all of you well!
Howdy N2T3! :) And good morningiums!
Total Overdose.... I bought that on friday from the sale... It's quite dumb fun... I'm not sure how to get a controller to work with it though. I think it would have been a lot better with controller. I'm guessing you could get a program like x360ce and make WSAD keys correspond to a controller's directional presses.. haven't tried it yet.
Basically you just go around shooting stuff. There's some kind of plot but not sure what it is, I skipped it as much as I could :) Oh, and there's a widescreen patch and that works nicely... hopefully with all computers.
Legacy of Kain: do you mean the first isometric game from late nineties by Silicon Knights or something else? I think at least that one is tough one to get rights to...
Oh and to continue the b-film game hunt: found this (from steam... boo! :p )
http://store.steampowered.com/app/313870/ - the price is a bit nasty... but it looks rather nice... and
this chic has the smarts to keep her clothes on... sorry lula (or whatever the name was) .. :p
oh and while I'm raging about it, here's a wishlist entry:
