ddickinson: I think I will say my goodbyes for the day. I have a few things I need to do before my partner gets home. I hope you all have a lovely day!

*big hugs and silly waves*
Have a nice day, Ms Kinson! Hope your day is lovely too :-)
*big goodbye hug*
Evenung!
Just back from work and have a bit time to read your farings of late.
Sorry to hear Agent about those attacks!
I haven't had those in a while.
I wonder if a certain technique would be useful or not at all...
Mm... Like this: counting out-breaths (exhaling) from 1 to 21 and back. Then again, twice more.
Probably in a comfortable, quiet situation... Just sitting and doing that.
I'm not a professional yoga instructor or anything, but I've been told that is not a bad practice.
Actually I've been doing it almost daily myself.
Also hmm I think breathing through nose was suggested...

But there's probably other better techniques and this I described might not reaaally help...

Hope things go better soon.

Thanks. I'm sure I'll be okay in no time. Just a random odd day I guess.
Anyway, that is a good idea. Often I forget about the whole "breathing" thing when I get like this. I'll give this a try now.
Thank you so much. I appreciate it :-)

Dammit... I got lost and missed a couple posts here until just now. I'm really sorry guys :-(

EndreWhiteMane: Going for a walk is the only way i can fight a panic attack, and that just distracts and tires me.
"Shaking and a feeling of impending doom" are my constant companions as well.
Didn't realize till last month that they are also the clinical definition of panic disorder.
Try to distract yourself till it passes, which it will.
My chat is always open also.
Think I'll take a walk shortly. Don't want to aggravate the man-flu* too much though, so I gotta keep it short and slow.
Until then, I'm playing a bit of Tetris between chatting here, which has always been helpful.
And thank you so much for the offer :-)

(*very light cold :-p)

akhliber: It may seem odd, but I find fast-paced games like racing games and shooters work strangely well at keeping panic attacks at bay. It seems the opposite would be true, that a calming game would be more help, and that something fast-paced would just push the stress in the wrong direction. But for whatever the reason, having something somewhat frantic but trivial to keep my attention on can be a great help. My chat's also always open, and I hope you find some relief!
Not odd at all. It's the same for me. Usually a shooter or a fast-paced RTS (Supreme Commander) is quite helpful for me. Tetris is good too :-)
The more quick thinking and quick reflexes that are required, the less time my brain has to think about life and stuff.
And thank you so much!

Damn... people here are too lovely :-)

I'm very ready to buy that if you're still enjoying it.
Any bad things to say about it?

I love that they call it EU-III complete then sell you 100 DLCs. :-)
Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone.

Hopefully you're all doing okay, or improving if you aren't.

Because it is complete. The DLCs will just make it more complete :D

How true, like putting extra chocolate on your ice cream. :-)
I have EU III Chronicles which is actually the complete complete version. ;)

On another note it appears the Twitch schedule is shot to hell again. :/

Yes. It's stupid that they kept the name for it. It would've been far easier to release the Chronicles (aka Collection) version only.
An iirc it was the complete version for several years until they decided to release two additional addons....

Uh ice cream... I want some.

Ahm... what were we talking about? A yes, it is seriously a bit misleading with the namings of these games with tons of DLCs.
What about the twitch thing? Didn't they change something with the shows not long ago?
