Low on food in the house and not willing to brave traffic to get to the store equals peanut butter on celery sticks for dinner. XD (How you know I do not have children: I am apparently not capable of getting peanut butter onto/in celery stick pieces without getting almost as much peanut butter on me as I do on the celery.)
Well, peanut butter/celery, the last of the chocolate mini donuts I forgot were in the fridge, and a Dr. Pepper. Go, healthy dinner me!
*snerk*
And once it's safe to hold a controller, back to playing Oceanhorn. I've been having a blast with that blame! It's pretty, even on the medium settings on my laptop, and interesting/fun with enough difficulty to be challenging at bosses/puzzles but easy enough that it's nowhere near frustrating. I don't care what anyone says, this is basically Zelda: Wind Waker with a different skin, and I'm more than okay with that, as all of my Zelda games are in storage. :P
I also started Dropsy this morning, and it's more charming than I would have thought. Sort of melancholy throughout and outright sad at the start, but promising.
Once one of these two games is finished, I'm off to Starship Titanic. I've been wanting this game since it's original release and although I read the book, I seem to have completely forgotten it, so... hopefully they incorporated Adams-esque logic to drive me insane and yet keep me giggling throughout.

Just curious I remember as a kid having Starship Titanic and whacking my brains off the side of this game, cd swapping and all, and it reminded me of another game I had, anyone here remember The Space Bar?

I haven't heard of that one! I grew up on Infocom and Sierra games, so I have fond memories of playing the HHGTTG game and wanting to kill it with fire until I figured out the puzzles. (In the days before the internet and easy-access FAQs!) Is The Space Bar similar?

Decided to pass on This War Of Mine again, so that means I'll be getting nothing from this sale. Eh, I already have too many games on my plate as it is, half of them being complete overhauls for Mount & Blade Warband!
Speaking of which, I've got the novella I Found In Haethfelth open and plan on giving it some of my time in a bit. It was written for Brytenwalda, a complete overhaul for Mount & Blade Warband, and is included in the Special Edition of the mod. Gotta hand it to modders, some of them really go above and beyond!

Sweet dreams and mornings peoplefolk!
I also have so many awesome games, no sense in buying any of the new relssies.
Though Good Old Douggie's Starship might be a pleasant voyage.
His writings and talks even outside Hitchhiker world were so full of life and wit.

Well, I read I Found In Haethfelth, the novella written for Brytenwalda, and it was actually pretty decent. It said a lot in less than 40 pages, the only negative was some grammar issues, the actual story and writing was actually entertaining.
Afterwards I went and created a new character in Brytenwalda and remembered why I never got far in it during my first attempted playthrough...it's hard! It's much more difficult than any other Mount & Blade complete overhaul I've played.
Starting off as a female character, if you don't improve Strength during the character creation then you'll start off with 4 Strength. Any one handed weapon worth having requires a minimum of 7 Strength. Enjoy fighting enemies with a toothpick (or a dull stick) to start the game! Enemies seem to hit a lot harder than in vanilla Warband too, making it really dangerous to fight them with weak weapons. The arena..haha... oh the arena. The arena is supposed to be a free for all but twice in a row did I have four opponents team up to take me out! Other times I've been taken out in just two hits!
It also changes the gameplay a tiny bit, like being able to trip and fall if you're constantly backing up while trying to fight, as well as adding a stamina mechanic. It introduces a Bounty system as well, I loved that feature in 1866 (a complete overhaul for the original Mount & Blade) and I'm glad to see it here.
Overall it's pretty darn challenging (at least from what I've seen in the early game) but fun, with a lot of story depth (at least compared to vanilla Warband and most Warband overhauls).
