LaPtiteBete: Honestly, I like it :) it reminds me (just a little, but still) my beloved David Bowie on his 72's album Ziggy Stardust (once again : just a little bit, don't stone me to death).

akhliber: Ooh, another favorite of mine! I'm pretty sure David Bowie and Syd Barrett were both pretty big influences on the singer/songwriter from Destroyer. Part of why I'm such a fan of his music, I think. :)
:-O ...
You're a David Bowie AND Syd Barrett fan ??.....
In my arms, bro \o/ !!! lol
Big fan of Pink Floyd here (even if Syd hasn't been part of it for a long time, unfortunately)...

Indeed! Syd Barrett was actually my first musical obsession, when an older friend played me Piper at the Gates of Dawn when I was eleven. I really enjoy a lot of the earlier Pink Floyd stuff, but I'm not the biggest fan of the later-years material. I used to have a bunch of old Pink Floyd concert recordings on cassette from trading shows with other fans by post... I'm willing to bet they're still in the garage. Sadly, the only shows I could ever get my hands on from Barrett's time with the band are of awful sound quality. I wish there were soundboard recordings of all those shows!

ddickinson: Has anyone played Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut? I have a spare key for it and I am wondering if it is any good? It looks like a nice little puzzle game, but it also looks a bit repetitive. Any opinions?
So... I don't know if you'll read that, but, I've installed and payed Q.U.B.E. for half an hour :)
It reminds me (just a little) Portal (but in much more simple, at least at the beginning).
White rooms, which you have to escape, using simple technology (here, your hands, wearing technological gloves... one is pulling colored cubes, the other is pushing them). I went through a tenth rooms, and in each you have a couple of colored blocks, that you can move differently depending on their color (red are single blocks, you can pull or push to climb on ; blue makes you bounce high ; and yellow work by 3, acting like stairs...), and so on. So, yes, it may seem a bit repetitive, it's not very complicated ; no tutorial, you learn as it goes. No other character. Personally, I felt a bit claustrophobic at the beginning, but I'm a weird claustrophobic French owl ;-p. Nice llittle puzzle game ; but not a big deal...

I don't use Steam or very barely, only when they have a game I'm waiting forever and that it's not avaiable here (like Age of Empires series) :-D
Do you have many games over there ?... they have very interesting deals too... (I'm glad I'm not ALSO a Steam fan, otherwise I'd be completely broke right now)...

Awesome !!! :D
I don't have many stuff either... My dad must have more. I inherited 67,3% of his musical tastes :-) and added mine as I grew up... you should try to save your recordings digitally ; cassettes tend to get damaged as time goes by... :)
(anyway, you have great taste) ^^

I just have to share my amusement with the avatar I came up with for Sachys' most recent giveaway. I don't poke at graphics stuff much anymore, and it was more fun to make than it probably should have been. :)

I use Steam mostly to redeem bundle games (and DRM-free games that threw in a Steam key) as well as for games that have little to zero chance of coming here. I've got 180 Steam games vs 143 GOG games but again, much of that 180 is bundle fodder that I redeemed just for the Steam Trading Cards. The one platform that I'm excited about is Itch.io. It's like Bandcamp for games, and most (if not all) of the games there are DRM-free too.

Thanks! :)

That's probably my favorite sequence from Iron Man 2, actually. The Marvel movies are pretty awesome at showing Iron Man, but Tony Stark tends to get lost along the way. I'm horribly out of date on my comics now, but he's probably my favorite superhero because - when well-written (Bendis, you do NOT count) - he's a wonderfully complex character.

Have you seen the horned owlet? That's pretty much a cotton ball that grew a face.

More like "one with many thumb cramps". -laughs-

Glad to hear it. Active without being stuck in some running nightmare is a good thing.

As a videosaid about owls:"Despite their cuddly appearence, beneath those fluffy feathers, the owl is what we call a bird of prey".
Never be fooled by how cute owls look, they can rip your face off if you get close to their owlets.BTW,I found another one of your Owlets..Cute little cotton ball with a face.
