moonshineshadow: Sounds like a good approach :-)
Never really got the reason why there need to be achievements in a game.
CarrionCrow: Take the input of initials on an old arcade machine and distort them into a mechanism to keep people playing and clamoring for more, a reinforcement of synthetic quasi-acccomplishment. That's the achievement system.
Because why let players have that feeling when they actually put in the time and effort to beat the game when they can be spoon-fed little chunks of that feeling dozens of times a game instead.
LaPtiteBete: Doing good here :)
But I start missing my games and my wifi connexion... and realizing that 8 days with my in laws are indeed a bit much for me... only 3 days so far... :-| they are very kind, heh, but... I'm too used to my loneliness.
CarrionCrow: You sound like me, only I don't have in-laws, thank the gods. Try to hang in there, distract yourself as much as you can. It'll help with the time perception, make it feel like it's flowing faster.
Thanks for the advice, my lonely feathered companion ;) I'll make good use of it...
