PalioDeMonte: Hi folks! *hugs and waves*

I'm back at work after two great weeks of holiday at home. Didn't know that the area around berlin is so great for hiking, although it was a bit hot the last week.

What did I miss?
Good morning. =)

To summarize, you missed this, that and the other thing. -laughs- Just people talking about whatever comes to mind.

gutter: Yeah, I just checked and it wasn't raining. Also, I reject the semantics of indexicals.

j0ekerr: I am convinced that whenever any particular group develops a personal lexicon, it is not to with the intent of furthering understanding, but simply to diminish it and above all other considerations, sound posh.

Linguistic majors are the worst of the lot.
Not a personal lexicon, that would be speaking gibberish. Also, your use of the term "lexicon" in place of a colloquial term like "vocabulary" makes me inclined to think that you partake of the very activity you condemn. Also, specialized terminology becomes necessary as a field of inquiry refines or invents concepts that do not map onto the standard lexicon. Got a reply? I doubt it.
Ev'rybody com quick!!
FANCY WORD FIGHT!!! :-O

I couldn't understand anything you said.

I just posted something here but it's not showing up. Can anybody confirm?

Good mornight.
Could complain... so I will. Nausea is pretty sh*tty this morning. Trying to distract myself with Aquaria, which is failing, because the game is too damn relaxing. I need to switch to something more fast paced and exciting to effectively distract myself. Despite that, I'm actually in a pretty good mood, so... I call it an overall win :-)

Yourself?

Yeah, they aren't bad... I really like "archipelago" :-D

It's a glitch that happens pretty often (in this thread at least. I have no idea about other threads.) Sometimes a new page won't show up until there are 2-4 posts.

Hello Everyone *big hugs and waves* :)

BillyMaysFan59: I don't know much about Netrunner. Looks like it is a Kubuntu derivative, using a modified version of the KDE Plasma desktop. (heh, apparently it's available in a "Rolling" version, which is a Manjaro/Arch derivative.)

Have a good night, Rayman =)
It is. And while it looks really great it's a bit buggy on machine. But the Plasma desktop is fine but clearly unfinished.
I thought about trying Manjaro at some point but for the moment i'll replace Netrunner with Debian. Want to try the netinstall of it :)

Sorry to hear that, but your good mood despite it is admirable. Antibiotics still taking their toll, or is it related to something else?

Doing all right here, just picked up Simon the Sorcerer 3D and Feeble Files. Insanely good deal today. And as a bonus, I think I only have maybe one more older game that has a horrible reputation to pick up.

ElTerprise: Hello Everyone *big hugs and waves* :)
Good mornoon, good sir :-) *big return hug*
How goes it this Monday?
I'm designing a Gauntlet inspired Dungeon Crawler and I created some pixel art for it. Now, I'm a programmer so I'm perfectly aware it's far from being beautiful, nonetheless I'm somewhat proud of it and wanted to show it to someone.

Follow this link to see a mockup image. You'll probably need to zoom in a bit since tiles are 16x16 pixels.

Let me hear your honest opinion please!

I finished the antibiotics a few days ago. This is just a daily problem I've been dealing with since age 10. I've never been able to figure out the cause. Some days are better, some are worse.

I'm curious what this last game with a horrible reputation might be.
That reminds me... I was going through my collection of physical copies the other day, and found "Gods and Generals". One of the worst reputations I know of, and it totally lives up to that reputation :-) I can't lie though, somehow it is still fun, and not just in a "so bad that it's funny" kind of way... It seems that no matter how hard I try, I just can't hate a game. I'm too positive I guess :-p

It looks functional enough to me, and I like the design of the ghosts (assuming they're ghosts!). I'm not a huge fan of the floor color, but I understand that there is a certain look you're going for there.
