NoNewTaleToTell: Well...CDF Ghostship was a bust. Not because the gameplay is bad, but because the framerate is unplayable when enemies are onscreen, so I went ahead and requested a refund.
What little gameplay I experienced wasn't bad, heck it seemed pretty interesting and competent enough, though it was obviously put together by a solo dev if you know what I mean. I may pick it up again when I get around to building my gaming/recording PC but for the immediate future that $15 could be thrown towards something that runs at a playable framerate.
CarrionCrow: At least you gave it a shot, and you get your coin back. (Sorta.) Maybe when the next rental sale hits, some high priority item will drop in your lap. LaPtiteBete: Well. I slept poorly, 3 hours at the most, still tired from my yesterday road trip... we left at 5:40 am and drove 25 minutes, then something broke in the engine. We've been stuck for 2 hours at my in-laws. The owlet's are tired as f*ck and grumpy too. I struggle not to yell at or punch anyone in the face....... =__= **deep breath**
Well if you punch somebody just be sure to do it when the referee is looking the other way! Hopefully things take a swing upwards for you, or you at least get some peace and quiet so you can mellow out for a bit. I actually saw a great wrestling match a night or two ago from a company called Lucha Underground. A "deathmatch" between a new (well, new to me) wrestler named Pentagon Jr and a wrestler named Vampiro. They told a pretty darn good story with the match, and with the weeks building up to it. I'm especially impressed by Vampiro considering he's gotta be in his 50s, hasn't wrestled in several years, is definitely physically long past his prime and had a good number of injuries in his career. He really held up his end.
