CarrionCrow: -laughs- Hell, I'm actually in a better game-related mood.

Course, that might just mean I'm losing my mind for good this time, but I actually loaded up Phantasmagoria, Phantasmagoria 2, Two Worlds and Fahrenheit, and thought to myself, "Well, at least none of those are the crap I've been playing".

I do appreciate the inclusion for when I inevitably start foaming at the mouth again, though. ;)
Are you kidding? If I step into this thread and you're not raging, or at least semi-raging about a game or two, I know that you're not well.

BTW, I was under the impression that Fahrenheit was in your "it's crap" list; what did I misunderstand?

avatar
EndreWhiteMane: Not so good at that one but I do a fine job with Credence's "There a Bathroom on the Right". :-)
XD - I knew I can count on you!
I actually had to look this one up, as I had never heard it before. And look what I stumbled on - some are good, others not so much. Seems there are quite a few clips on the subject of misheard lyrics.

Yours is still unique, it could easily have been the actual lyrics.

Good.

LaPtiteBete: You both are really missing something... Really !!! Old Lucas Arts games are... how could I say. Best adventure games I ever played (until I play Blackwell series less than a month ago...) :-)

Hi again, by the way :-p
avatar
AgentBirdnest: Hello!

Well if they are not as good as Blackwell, then what is the point ;-P
They're just part of me... they've made my childhood so much funny and challenging... !! They've kind of made who I am ! that's all... :-p pfffffrrrrtttt !!!!

EndreWhiteMane: At it's current price that's all I'll do, watch.
avatar
FoxySage: I'm getting it on day 1 release. I was part of the kickstarter crowd. :D

avatar
CarrionCrow: Yeah, nothing terribly exciting happening here either. It's cold, it's generally quiet, and I'm trying to load my library so I can make the current flags go away in between adding more stuff to the wishlist and thinking that GOG's putting out a bunch of stuff that I'll probably end up buying myself as multiple birthday gifts soon. =)
avatar
FoxySage: It is always good to spoil yourself with gifts once in a while. ;)

avatar
tinyE: Oh I suck at it! Honestly I played it for about 30 minutes and then switched over to Torchlight 2; I have an embermage named Ororo Munroe that I'm kicking some ass with.
avatar
FoxySage: Nice X-Men reference there. ;) Storm is one of my favourite characters.
avatar
HypersomniacLive: And to everyone else I asked (or neglected to ask, sorry) about their Steam Wishlist - please don't ignore my request, I can certainly use some distraction, as it's the middle of the night here and I won't hear anything before tomorrow late afternoon/ early evening.
So, again let me take a peek in your wishlists, and if I find anything I can do, it will be a great source of joy for me.
avatar
FoxySage: Well alright, guess i can share mine. I got Nothing on my Steam wishlist. =)

Best of wishes to you and your friend though. Hope s/he will get the treatment in time. *offers a big digital hug*

They are awesome games. And I don't care how awesome Blackwell may be, everyone should play at least one LucasArts adventure: Day of the Tentacle. I hope this will be released here... but I fear we might get some remake and lets see how that turns out ;-)

That's hilarious, I already knew a couple of them, but some of those are quite good.

My favourite is Bob Dylan - The Ants are my friends, their blowing in the wind, the ants are blowing in the wind :D

- Sam & Max : Hit the Road (we got it !!! woohoooooo)

More recent ones :
- Grim Fandango (but it's a remastered version... Õ__Õ... my laptop is recent so it will handle the required configuration, but still...)

Awesome, I'll have fun at work with those. :-)

The Last Crusade needs to be here, it is the second best Indy next to Fate.
The Dig really needs to be in this list too. ;)

-laughs- I'll have to fake it when I move on to playing more games that are actually good.
Can't get too predictable.

Oh, it absolutely is. I am hard pressed to think of a game that starts with as much potential as Fahrenheit, and ends being as much as a train wreck.
But it's not Soulstorm. I'm working on wrapping up playthrough 3 of 9 for that, and I'm 67 hours in. There's no other game so bad that I'll end up playing for so long, unless something even worse is waiting in the wings, but screw that, I won't have a personal connection to it so I won't even sign up for yet another nightmare.

I've stumbled upon them before, and I've very much enjoyed them.
I only play games that long or that often when I really love them - or both, like Civ I, Chronotrigger etc. Props for your patience, CC
I am impressed
