Even if you are getting someone you still can only go as far as pre-security.

Well yes. But there's no security check at the arrivals section. Just one-way paths from the plane to the baggage area to the exit. And you wait at the exit. If you try to pass through I believe you will be tackled or worse quite quickly.

The weather is so much better here this evening. Cold and wet. We have a great cold breeze that has cooled the place down so much.

Glad to hear you had a good day, except for the heat. It is due to be a bit cooler here. And this evening is lovely with the cold wind.

I'm now in my room in the basement - sleeping under the roof is torture during summer - but appearently it's still about 25°C outside....

It's a lot less here now. Earlier on the temperature was very high, but since this cold wind and a bit of rain it seems to have dropped quite a lot. We are due storms, but I prefer that over the heat, although both can be a bother to work in.
