Sailing ships are dreadfully sluggish and require a quick mind, and crew to take into battle.
In the videos these move like speedboats.

Hello to everyone that has arrived recently!
I think it has been about 27-28C today. It's not too bad, but being out in it for most of the day while doing a manual job be be a bother. I think the highest we normally get is mid-30s. How about your part of Germany? Do you get high temperatures in the summer?
That's true. Is it waterproof? If so you are welcome to join me and Owl for a cools swim and some free ice cold lemonade. :-)
CarrionCrow: Understandable, but unnecessary. If my gear went down, I'd use the local library to make contact and let people know.
Course, if a few weeks pass and I don't show with any message at all, that might mean I'm dead. -laughs- That would indeed be a very sad day for the thread. So you be a good boy and make sure that it is not going to happen for a long time. Would you really want to make Owl cry? :-)
Of course I will share some lemonade. And feel free to enjoy a nice swim. But don't forget your swimsuit. I invited Endre so you won't be able to go skinny dipping today. I guess you could, but we don't want to get him too excited. :-)

Since I know it is not 2008 all that needs to be done is bring Agent back to normal... perhaps we should catch him and do some tests :D

Finally a page update!
Glad to hear that - doing good here albeit a bit exhausted :)
EndreWhiteMane: Hopefully the videos I've seen are greatly sped up, otherwise the movement of the ships is totally un-realistic.
Sailing ships are dreadfully sluggish and require a quick mind, and crew to take into battle.
In the videos these move like speedboats. Yeah hope so too. But i don't think i'll get this game now. I read some review and apparently it's fun but grindy and shallow...
It's been a been a bit less here around 23-25°C. I think mid 30°C might be the maximum here as well .

Have you noticed it on any other thread, or is it just our thread? Maybe if it is just this thread and if it carries on getting worse then we should start the Conversational Free-For-All Thread #2.

========
And I will be calling it a day. I am off for a nice cool swim with my partner then home for some ice cold fresh lemonade. I will be sure to save you all some. Maybe. :-)
Take care and I hope you all have a lovely day!

The gaming deals thread has about 8000 posts more than us so I'm sure the size of the thread is OK.
Edit: And have a nice swim, I'll have to settle for a cool shower. ;)

Hi, folks! I've been quite a stranger of late, as medical and family issues have had me quite busy. I hope you are all doing well! I've missed the warm conversation around here, and I hope to catch up on how you all are doing some this afternoon.
