If the game consisted of bears chasing priests around, I'd be tuned in to it right now.

It's still the weekend and a lot of people in Europe are asleep at this point. Slows things down a bit.

Still can't decide what I want to play next. It's like having the games section to a video store all to myself and I can pick whatever I want.

I know that feeling! I used to go crazy over every game i got when i was a kid. But now that i have two full libraries, i dont get to be immersed into a game but tend to jump from game to game...

It's overload. There's more stuff than any one person can play and experience, even if they spend 12 hours a day on it for the rest of their life, and I'm just referring to PC items. Add in consoles and it becomes that much more impossible.

Yep. Back when I had just a few games if I bought a bad game I'd still try to get a couple hours of fun out of it, even if it was doing something stupid and entertaining myself at the game's expense. The games that I liked, well they got a LOT of hours put into them, replaying games until the discs were begging for mercy, ha. Now if I buy a bad game I'll usually quit under an hour, if I get a good game then I'll complete the main story but will rarely replay it. My backlog is too big and full of good games for me to waste time on bad games or to keep replaying the same (linear) good games.

Of course there are some exceptions, open world games will always eat away hours upon hours of my life, even if it's just driving around the virtual world and listening to the in-game radio, and I'll probably end up with over a hundred playthroughs of Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines before I die haha.
There can never be too much said in favor of a clothing optional home.

It's an oversaturated world, and it's only moving faster.
Anyone who tries to keep up rather than picking an approach that works for them will overload.

Also, that reminds me. Still need 7 runs of Bloodlines to call it dead. That's going to take a while.
Alright. Xenonauts is hard! But it's proper oldschool hard, where every new discovery of gameplay tactics brings pure happiness and world peace advancement into the world. or so it feels like.
I've completed the first X-com, the first-first X-com, played the underwater one and apocalypse way too much for my good... and now playing on normal with Xenonauts and saying it's hard... as in easy/normal/veteran/insane...
But man that's how it's done! In my eyes this son'sa'bitch is a classic!
would be cool to try that insane mode if I ever complete it with normal. Saying goodbye to my hair.

Good morning, everyone!

I hope you are having a lovely start to the week? And for those still in bed (such as the Americans), I hope you are haing a lovely nights sleep all ready for the day ahead.

*morning hugs and silly waves*

And a little quote to start your week:

“Write it on your heart
that every day is the best day in the year.
He is rich who owns the day, and no one owns the day
who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety.

Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can, tomorrow is a new day;
begin it well and serenely, with too high a spirit
to be cumbered with your old nonsense.

This new day is too dear,
with its hopes and invitations,
to waste a moment on the yesterdays.”
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Oh, good morning, Europe. Let me know if the sun is any good today. I'll see it in a few hours and don't want to get my hopes too high.

*hugs for any who require them*

Good morning, Moonshine!

*big extra special happy Monday morning hug*

My weekend was wonderful! I am feeling so happy and great after my long weekend with my partner. And apparently I have been singing love songs all morning since I got into work (about 4.5 hours ago). I am feeling the best I have felt in quite some time.

How are you today? How was your weekend? Busy hugs? Have you come back to a lot of work?

*lots more happy hugs*

Good morning, Agent!

The sun is shining brightly here today, and it looks set on being a beautiful day.

How are you? I hope you are doing well and are looking forward to a new week?

I am doing great (see my response to Moon above).

*big hug with extra peanut butter*
