I gather we are both suffering in the heat, our forecast is for similar temps to yours. At least I don't have to work outside, you really have my sympathy.

Where do you come from originally, before you ended up in the desert? Surely somewhere cool and rainy?

I will be very happy when the internet company finishes their upgrade. Someone seems to have decided that late evening is a good time to take the system offline. (Or it just breaks at night on its own sometimes...)

I grew up in a place that had heat like the desert sometimes, but far less often.
It had a lot more rain as well, though that wouldn't be hard to do.
Generally, it was easier summers, easier winters, and overall better conditions aside from the low-level toxic cloud that built up when the wind didn't blow it away for a while.
