I have the inverse problem ; I almost never get notifications when I get new messages... I don't think GOG tries to trick you, I think their chat system sucks, that's all :-p

Hello people how are you doing?

I was playing some Valkyria chronicles. It is an overwhelming game that throws you in a glasscase of emotion, making you experience through the whole emotional spectrum. II was both laughing and crying at the cutscenes it forced down my throat.

That is not a good thing.

And then I saw the fourth cinematic for episode 5 and the whole thing made sense then.

It certainly gave new meaning to the phrase when pigs fly.

Oh, and earlier I glimpsed at the female villain who has a crush on her obviously evil boss. DEM BOOBS!

And Trine 3 is coming to gog.

Bet those who didn't get the first 2 games at the sale are feeling pretty silly.

I just spent a half hour trying to patch a game I didn't have installed.

How is Valkyria Chronicles? It's one of those games I'm hoping they'll eventually get here because I love tactical RPGs and have heard a lot of good things about it (as far as the story goes, it's a JRPG so I never have high hopes)

I played a demo of Trine 2 when it was released on Wii U and I can't say I liked it much, not that it was bad, just not my kind of game really.

It's the goddamn cutscenes it forces you to watch, that are chock-full of every single horrible anime trope you can think of.

Trine is goddamn beautiful that's it. It's an explosion of colour and design perfectly balanced with some of the most gorgeous art I've ever seen.

Yeah, sounds pretty much like what I'd expect. At least the game is good :)

Oh yeah it looks spectacular, just from what I played it didn't grip me enough to consider buying it.

The game mechanics are not spectacular, but I thought they made for an enjoyable platformer. Though I haven't played that much yet.

Personally, the game is so gorgeous I think it has value from its art alone, I can easily picture framed screenshots on walls. Or even a recorded playthrough being shown on a screen.
